AN ANTIPERSPIRANT COMPOSITION COMPRISING INORGANIC POLYIONIC CLUSTER
The present invention is in the field of antiperspirant compositions, in particular, compositions comprising antiperspirant actives. Disclosed is an anhydrous antiperspirant composition comprising an inorganic polyionic cluster having structure of (I) or (II); where M is Ca or Mg; and wherein the composition is substantially free of abrasives, which means less than 3.0% by weight of the composition; wherein anhydrous means the water content of the composition is less than 3.0%.
Dry shampoo composition
The present technology provides a dry shampoo composition comprising clay, natural starches and a natural oil absorbent. Such dry shampoo compositions are highly absorbent, fine, light and resistant to clumping. In some embodiments, the dry shampoo compositions are useful as alternatives to conventional wet shampoo in methods for cleaning hair.
ORAL COMPOSITIONS
A chewable composition for teeth-whitening comprising a first region and a second region separated by a barrier layer; the first region comprising carbamide peroxide having water content of about 2% or less, a wetting agent (e.g., glycerin), an anhydrous chewing gum base having water content of about 1% or less, an anhydrous fruit acid, and one or more gum additives; and the second region comprising a chewable composition comprising a gum base, a source of bicarbonate ion, and one or more gum additives. A kit comprising separate chewable compositions corresponding to the first and second regions, and methods for whitening teeth using the chewable composition are also provided.
DEODORANT COMPOSITIONS WITH METAL OXIDES
A deodorant composition comprising a metal oxide; a primary emollient; and at least one wax with a melting point above 50° C.; wherein the composition is anhydrous and aluminum-free; and wherein the composition has a pH greater than about 8.0 at 60 minutes as measured by the pH Release Test Method.
DEODORANT COMPOSITIONS WITH NATURAL WAX
A deodorant stick comprising: a natural or naturally-derived oil; an antimicrobial; a naturally-derived wax blend comprising from about 5% to about 20% an ester wax having a melting point of at least about 55° C.; and from 0.01% to 2% a fatty alcohol or fatty alcohol-containing wax; wherein the deodorant stick is anhydrous and substantially free of aluminum; and wherein the stick has an oil binding capacity percent of at least 80%.
Anhydrous composition including a lipophilic gelling agent, at least two different fillers and an oil phase
Anhydrous compositions including from 3% to 15% by weight of at least one lipophilic gelling agent, from 10% to 50% by weight of fillers including at least 5% by weight of a first filler and at least 5% by weight of a second filler different from the first; and from 40% to 85% by weight of at least one fatty phase are provided.
Aerosol device for dry-washing and treating the hair
The present invention relates to an aerosol device comprising: a container containing a cosmetic composition which comprises at least 6% by weight of one or more powders relative to the total weight of the composition, and a dispensing head comprising a body and an end part comprising at least two outlet orifices configured to allow spraying of the composition about a longitudinal axis of the end part in at least two different directions, the dispensing head comprising at least first and second chambers, through which the composition stream successively passes before it exits via the outlet orifices.
Topical skin care formulations comprising plant extracts
A method for treating skin of a person is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to the skin of the person a composition comprising an effective amount of an aqueous, alcoholic, or aqueous-alcoholic extract from Sequoia sempervirens, Geranium oil, panthenol, citric acid, and glycerin, wherein the composition increases antioxidant activity in the skin and/or increases skin moisture content.
Matte nail compositions containing polylactic acid microparticles
The invention relates to matte nail compositions including polylactic acid microparticles, as well as to methods, kits and nail composition sets related to such compositions.
AEROSOL COMPOSITIONS HAVING IMPROVED ACTIVE INGREDIENT APPLICATION
The present invention relates to aerosol compositions for body care, comprising:
a) at least one propellant, and
b) a composition A, which comprises (i) at least one perspiration-inhibiting antiperspirant active ingredient, (ii) at least one hydrophobized clay material, and (iii) propylene carbonate, wherein the weight ratio of the propylene carbonate (iii) to the hydrophobized clay material (ii) is 1.75:1.00 to 2.00:1.00.
The invention furthermore relates to the cosmetic use of a mixture of propylene carbonate (iii) and at least one hydrophobized clay material (ii) at a weight ratio of (iii):(ii) of 1.75:1.00 to 2.00:1.00 in antiperspirant aerosol compositions for improving the delivery rate of the antiperspirant active ingredient(s) when sprayed onto the skin, and to a cosmetic, non-therapeutic method for reducing or masking body odor in which an aerosol composition according to the invention is sprayed onto the skin.
