The electric machine includes an output shaft that is rotatable about a longitudinal axis at an output speed. The assembly also includes an output member coupled to the output shaft and rotatable about the longitudinal axis at a reduced speed. In addition, the assembly includes a pericyclic apparatus coupled to the output shaft and the output member to reduce the output speed of the output shaft to the reduced speed of the output member. A vehicle may include the speed reduction assembly in certain configurations. The vehicle includes a battery module and the electric machine is in electrical communication with the battery module to recharge the battery module when the electric machine operates as the generator.
MOTOR UNIT
A motor assembly includes a housing and a plate-shaped first substrate. The housing houses a motor whose axis of rotation extends in the axial direction. Electronic components are mounted on the first substrate. The housing includes a tubular portion and a side wall portion. The tubular portion extends in the axial direction and accommodates the motor. The side wall portion protrudes from a radial outer surface of the tubular portion in a direction including at least the radially outward direction and the circumferential direction, and extends in the axial direction. An accommodation space to accommodate the electronic components is provided between the tubular portion and the side wall portion as viewed from the axial direction.

An electrically driven garden tool comprises: a housing (602) comprising a receptacle for receiving a motor module (100); and a rotary element drivable with an electric motor, the rotary element comprises a receiving element having a keyed interface corresponding to the keyed surface (122) or structure on the output shaft (108) of the motor module (100). A grass compactor (900) comprises: mounting structure to attach the grass compactor (900) to a lawn mower (1000); an inlet (1104) for receiving cut grass from an underside of the lawn mower (1000); a channel (1206) for transporting cut grass from the inlet (1104) to a feed hopper (1400); and a compaction conveyor (1404) configured to receive cut grass from the feed hopper (1400), and to compact and convey cut grass along a length thereof and discharge compacted cut grass from the outlet (1210).
HANDHELD POWER TOOL
Provided is a user-friendly power tool. The power tool 1 comprises: a battery pack mount 2c to which a battery pack 4 can be attached and detached; and a cover 17 that can cover the battery pack 4, mounted on the battery pack mount 2c, and the battery pack mount 2c so as to allow opening and closing. The wall 23 of the battery pack mount 2c is provided with a correcting part 23a that is capable of correcting inward warping of both the left and right side surfaces of the cover 17, which are the longitudinal direction surfaces. The lower edge of the correcting part 23a has a rounded shape.
ENERGY CONVERSION DEVICE, ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An energy conversion device may include a shaft including a first portion and a second portion wherein the first portion of the shaft is configured to rotate relative to the second portion of the shaft. A rotor may be coupled to the first portion of the shaft and a stator may be coupled to the second portion of the shaft. A first one-way bearing may be coupled to the first portion of the shaft and configured to transfer rotational input to the first portion of the shaft in a first direction. A second one-way bearing may be coupled to the second portion of the shaft and configured to transfer rotational input to the second portion of the shaft in a second direction opposite the first direction.
