METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THE DETECTION OF THE POSITION OF AN OPERATING SWITCH FOR STARTING AN ELECTRIC MOTOR

An electric motor is connected to a voltage source via a drive circuit and, between the drive circuit and the voltage source, the operating switch is arranged for the switching of the supply voltage (U) of the voltage source as the input voltage (U.sub.E) on the drive circuit. Following the switch-out of the electric motor, the input voltage (U.sub.E) on the drive circuit is monitored and a gradient of a rising voltage ramp (dU/dt) of the input voltage (U.sub.E) is determined. The gradient of the rising voltage ramp (dU/dt) of the input voltage (U.sub.E) thus determined is compared with a predefined limiting value and, in the event of an overshoot of the predefined limiting value, the operating switch is detected as closed, and the electric motor is restarted via the drive circuit.

Motor control system and control system for electric motor-driven vehicle

A motor control system includes a drive motor and a deck motor that are connected to a battery, an ECU, and a key switch. The key switch acquires that an operation unit has been turned on, and transmits a restart permission signal to the ECU. When SOC of the battery reaches or falls below a first threshold set in advance, the ECU performs a step of disabling all the motors, and when the restart permission signal is received, the ECU performs a step of executing a decelerated travelling mode where the disabled state of the drive motor is released and an allowed speed of the drive motor is reduced.

A power supply system having a wireless security module for vehicles is provided. The power supply system comprises a battery module, a power management module, an energy management module and the wireless security module. The battery module powers a starting motor of a vehicle. The power management module is used to receive a power from a power generating device. The power management module transmits the power of the power generating device into the battery module. The power management module comprises a monitoring unit and a controlling unit. The monitoring unit is used to monitor a voltage value of the battery module. When the voltage value monitored is equal to a minimum setting, the power management module is used to prevent the battery module from powering the starting motor. When the voltage value monitored is equal to a maximum setting, the power management module stops powering the battery module. The controlling unit is used to control a current value outputted from the battery module. Furthermore, when the voltage value of the battery module is equal to the maximum setting, the energy management module is used to receive a power from the power generating device. The power is transmitted into the vehicle by the energy management module.
