A method of calibrating a motor assembly includes selecting an electric motor and a motor controller for the motor assembly, obtaining at least one electric motor parameter of the electric motor, determining a correction factor for the electric motor based upon the at least one electric motor parameter, and programming the motor controller with the correction factor.
Speed estimating device for AC motor, driving device for AC motor, refrigerant compressor, and refrigeration cycle apparatus
A speed estimating device for an AC motor includes: a model deviation computing unit computing a model deviation based on a voltage, a current, and an estimated angular velocity of the AC motor; a first angular velocity estimating unit computing a first estimated angular velocity based on the model deviation; a second angular velocity estimating unit computing a second estimated angular velocity differing from the first estimated angular velocity in frequency, based on the model deviation; a compensation phase computing unit computing a compensation phase based on a disturbance frequency; and an estimated angular velocity calculator computing an estimated angular velocity of the AC motor based on the first estimated angular velocity and the second estimated angular velocity. Either one of the first estimated angular velocity and the second estimated angular velocity is computed based on the compensation phase.

Position sensorless control method in low-speed region of fault-tolerant permanent magnet motor system based on envelope detection and non-orthogonal phase-locked loop
In the position sensorless control method in low-speed region of the fault-tolerant permanent magnet motor system based on the envelope detection and the non-orthogonal phase-locked loop of the present disclosure, the position sensorless control of the motor is implemented by injecting the high-frequency voltage signals into any two non-faulty phase windings of the motor, extracting the high-frequency response currents of the high-frequency injected phases by the digital bandpass filter, calculating the differential mode inductances of the two phase windings through the envelope detecting and signal processing, and extracting the rotor position and rotational speed signals from the estimated two phase inductances through the non-orthogonal phase-locked loop. In addition, the controller of the present disclosure is small in size, high in accuracy, and high in reliability, which can effectively meet the performance requirements of the onboard electric actuators.
METHOD AND SYSTEMS FOR VIBRATION-BASED STATUS MONITORING OF ELECTRIC ROTARY MACHINES
A computer-implemented method for training a model for recommending threshold values of at least one spatial vibration component of an electric rotary machine. A computer-implemented method for monitoring a status of an electric rotary machine using the trained model. A computer program product with commands for carrying out the methods, a machine-readable storage medium with a computer program product, and a data transmission signal which carries the commands. A sensor and computing facility for monitoring a status of an electric rotary machine which is designed to detect data relating to the operation of the electric rotary machine on the electric rotary machine. The sensor and computing facility has commands which, when executed by the sensor and computing facility, cause the sensor and computing facility to carry out the training method and/or the status monitoring method.
MTPA based method for parameterless and position-sensorless control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor
A parameterless and position-sensorless MTPA control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor including: using three rotating reference frames having different observation angles to parse the current vector; using a target current value and a preset current-rotor angle y that is between the current vector and the q.sub.r-axis of the (d.sub.r, q.sub.r) rotor reference frame to obtain the angles between the current vector, the voltage vector, and the rotor position; obtaining the target voltage value and the target voltage angle by using the obtained angles to obtain the target phase voltage values for regulation. The method is simple in controlling the motor, improves the control efficiency and reliability, and improves the control accuracy.
INDUCTION MOTOR CONTROL
A method of a control system (2200) controls an inductance motor in a blower including an impeller and volute using a pressure compensation control system. The control system may be implemented in a respiratory pressure therapy device. The control system may include a sensor configured to provide a pressure signal indicative of the pressure of a flow of fluid produced by the blower. A measured pressure may be compared to a set pressure to determine a pressure error. A slip frequency may be adjusted as a function of the pressure error in an attempt to eliminate or minimise the pressure error.
Reduced control cycle current regulator for vehicle electric traction motor
A system in a vehicle includes a current regulator to obtain current commands from a controller based on a torque input and provide voltage commands and an inverter to use the voltage commands from the current regulator and direct current (DC) supplied by a battery to provide alternating current (AC). The system also includes an electric traction motor to provide drive power to a transmission of the vehicle based on injection of the AC from the inverter. The current regulator adjusts parameters of a transfer function implemented by the current regulator, based on feedback of an input to and an output from the electric traction motor to achieve the AC corresponding with the torque input in no more than two control cycles.
