Systems and methods for reducing contaminants in a portion of a patient

Systems and methods for reducing pathogens near an implant are discussed. In some cases, the methods include reducing contaminants in a portion of a patient that has an implant and that is disposed interior to a closed surface of skin of the patient. The method can further include placing a conduit in the closed surface of skin and flowing an antimicrobial fluid into that portion of the patient to contact the antimicrobial fluid with a surface of the implant and tissue adjacent to the implant. In some cases, the antimicrobial fluid is then removed from the portion of the patient having the implant. As part of this method, biofilm near the implant can be mechanically, ultrasonically, electrically, chemically, enzymatically, or otherwise disrupted. Other implementations are described.

A distributed sterilizer system for distributing ozone water to a plurality of rooms comprising an ozone generation system for generating ozone from an air supply, a plurality of injection devices for mixing the ozone generated from the ozone generation system with a supply of water to form ozone water and a delivery piping system for distributing the ozone water from the plurality of injection devices into each of the plurality of rooms. The ozone generation system further comprises a centralized oxygen concentrator for providing a supply of oxygen and a plurality of ozone generators for generating ozone from the oxygen supplied by the centralized oxygen concentrator. The distributed sterilizer system also provides a mechanism for distributing ozone directly to a plurality of other rooms.

OZONE DISINFECTING SYSTEM AND DEVICES CONFIGURED TO CONVERT WATER INTO OZONE FOR DISINFECTING, CLEANING, OR SANITIZING
20220023472 · 2022-01-27 ·

An ozone disinfecting system includes a water holding tank configured to hold water for use by the ozone disinfecting system. An ozone generator machine is configured to convert the water into an ozone cleaner agent. An ozone holding tank is configured to hold the ozone cleaner agent created by the ozone generator machine. A drain is configured to drain fluid from the ozone holding tank to the water holding tank. A pump is configured to cycle the fluid from the water holding tank to the ozone generator machine and into the ozone holding tank. A controller is configured to control the pump, the ozone generator machine, and the drain. Wherein, the controller controls the pump, the ozone generator machine and the drain to create the ozone cleaner agent from the water and cycle it between the water holding tank and the ozone holding tank at a specified cycle time.

AQUEOUS OZONE GENERATOR CARTRIDGE WITH A WATER TREATMENT MANIFOLD

An illustrative expendable or reconstructable ozone generator cartridge for an aqueous ozone delivery device, for example, for antimicrobial sanitizing and/or medical treatment, includes a housing for a water treatment manifold providing parallel and operably fixed water pathways through ozone generating cells coupled to the manifold, and optionally a data logging and authentication feature.

Method and apparatus for sanitation of ice production and dispensing system

An ice maker includes an ice making unit comprising an evaporator connected to a refrigeration system, an ice holding bin, a sump, a pump, a drain valve, an ozonated water source, and a controller. The controller activates the ozonated water source supplying a first volume of ozonated water to the sump, thereafter activates the pump to circulate the first volume of ozonated water from the sump to the ice making unit, once a predetermined sterilization time has been reached, the controller turns off the pump and drains the first volume of ozonated water from the sump. The controller initiates an ice making mode, and activates the ozonated water source to supply a second volume of ozonated water to the sump, thereafter activates the pump to circulate the second volume of ozonated water from the sump to the ice making unit forming ozonated ice on the evaporator, and initiates an ice harvest mode to remove the ozonated ice from the evaporator and delivers it to the ice holding bin.

A system for creating an oxidation reduction potential (ORP) in water employs a plurality of ozone supply units housed in separate enclosures. The ozone supply units feed into a manifold that contains a plurality of fluid paths and has one or more ozone intake ports. The ozone intake ports are fluidically coupled to one or more ozone output ports of each ozone supply unit. The manifold includes a plurality of flow switches configured to transmit control signals to one or more controllers of each ozone supply unit in response to sensing a flow of water through the fluid paths in order to cause the ozone supply units to generate ozone. The manifold also includes a plurality of fluid mixers that are fluidically coupled to the ozone intake ports and configured to introduce the ozone generated by the ozone supply units into the water flowing through the fluid paths.
