ISLANDING DETECTION METHOD IN DC MICROGRIDS BASED ON MPPT TRAPEZOIDAL VOLTAGE DISTURBANCE
The invention discloses an islanding detection method in DC microgrids based on MPPT trapezoidal voltage disturbance. The steps are as follows: start the MPPT strategy; set the starting signal threshold of disturbance; measure the output current of PVA at the maximum power; calculate the same environmental factor of PVA with different capacities under the same light intensity and temperature in real time; when the environmental factor is greater than the starting signal threshold of the disturbance, periodic trapezoidal disturbance is carried out to the PVA port voltage reference; if the PCC voltage Upcc exceeds the threshold set by the passive method, it is judged as islanding; otherwise, it is judged whether the change rule of Upcc is consistent with the change rule of the calculated PCC voltage Upccp under the trapezoidal disturbance; If it is consistent, it is judged as islanding; otherwise, it is pseudo islanding.

The first conduction layer is an ultrastatic conducting layer being made using ultrasonic spray technology. The photovoltaic collector further includes a plurality of connection units disposed along on an outer peripheral edge of the photovoltaic collector. Each connection unit is adapted to connect with an adjacent connection unit of an adjacent photovoltaic collector to tessellate and electrically interconnect and interlock the photovoltaic collector with a plurality of adjacent photovoltaic collectors without requiring additional cable wires.
Photovoltaic apparatus
A photovoltaic apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a photovoltaic cell array for generating electricity by using solar energy; a battery energy storage system for charging electric energy supplied from the photovoltaic cell array and discharging the charged electric energy to a system; and a processor for controlling a generated power amount to be supplied to the system on the basis of the generated power amount of the photovoltaic cell array and power consumption of the photovoltaic apparatus.
Systems for damping a solar photovoltaic array tracker
Solar tracker systems include a torque tube, a solar panel attached to the torque tube, and a damper assembly. The damper assembly includes a housing defining first and second chambers, a first fluid passageway extending between the first and second chambers, and a second fluid passageway extending from the second chamber. A piston is moveable relative to the housing and a valve is positioned within the first chamber and moveable to passively control fluid flow. An active lock includes a shaft extending into the second chamber with a seal attached to the shaft. The shaft is selectively moveable between an unsealed position in which the seal is spaced from a chamber wall and a flow path is defined between the first fluid passageway and the second fluid passageway, and a sealed position in which the seal contacts and seals against the chamber wall to obstruct the flow path.

METHOD FOR STARTING PHOTOVOLTAIC RAPID SHUTDOWN SYSTEM, APPLICATION APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
A method for starting a photovoltaic rapid shutdown system, an application apparatus and a system are provided. In this method, the inverter system controls a voltage of a direct current bus in the photovoltaic rapid shutdown system. The photovoltaic module breaker makes determination based on a detected output voltage of the photovoltaic module breaker. In a case that the change characteristics of the voltage of the direct current bus connected to the photovoltaic module breaker meets the predetermined turn-on condition, the photovoltaic module breaker controls itself to be turned on. Therefore, the photovoltaic module breaker can determine whether the photovoltaic module breaker receives a turn-on signal only based on its own voltage acquisition device without an additional receiving apparatus.
FLOOD AVOIDANCE ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) CHARGING STATION
A charging station for electric vehicles includes a solar array for converting solar energy into electricity. A curved column is provided for holding the solar array at an upper end of the column. Its lower end is affixed to a platform for stability. An equipment enclosure is attached to the upper end of the curved column for holding electronic and mechanical components that, respectively, collect and store solar energy from the solar array and operationally move the solar array for this purpose. Additionally, a control unit is included with the electronic and mechanical components in the equipment enclosure to monitor vehicle charging operations. For protective purposes, the equipment enclosure is located on the curved column at an elevated height above the stability platform, to prevent flood damage and avoid theft or vandalism.
