Microbial disinfection for personal protection equipment

A photosensitizer formulation can be disposed on or in a mesh; net; netting; screen; curtain of strands, fibers, or monofilaments; substrate, personal protective gear, mask, or any other suitable object. The photosensitizer formulation, when in contact with molecular oxygen and activated by light or ultrasound, produces microbicidal singlet oxygen. A variety of different arrangements and applications are described. For example, an air flow device may also be included to generate a flow of air through or over the photosensitizer formulation. A fluorescent formulation may be included to monitor photobleaching. The photosensitizer formulation may be disposed in a concentration gradient to generate antigenic particles by damaging or destroying microbes.

USE OF VOLATILE COMPOSITIONS TO LIMIT OR ELIMINATE PERCEPTION OF FECAL MALODOUR

Described herein is a method of using volatile compositions to limit, decrease or eliminate a perception of fecal malodour. Such compositions include a malodour antagonist system associated with perfuming ingredients performing as malodour counteractant, in a combination that significantly reduces the perception of fecal malodour. Such compositions, methods of using the compositions in combination with delivery systems and their applications in consumer products are described herein.

A fragrance sheet includes a film agent, a humectant, and a fragrance. The fragrance sheet is substantially water soluble. The fragrance sheet is included in an envelope having permanent seal on a top surface thereof. A resealable zipper closure is disposed below the permanent seal. The envelope is opened and one of the fragrance sheets is removed from the envelope. The removed fragrance sheet is disposed into a vessel of water. The fragrance sheet is dissolved within the water to release a plurality of fragrance particles. A surface of the water is coated with the plurality of fragrance particles.

STIMULATING AGENT

A method for imparting a stimulating effect to a non-ingestible consumer product includes adding a fragrance composition to the consumer product. The consumer product is selected from a household product, a laundry product, a personal care product and a cosmetic product. The fragrance composition contains from about 0.2 wt % to less than 10 wt % of isopulegol, based on the total weight of the fragrance composition.

MALODOR REDUCTION COMPOSITIONS

The present invention relates to malodor reduction compositions and methods of making and using same. The malodor reduction compositions are suitable for use in a variety of applications, including use in consumer products, for example, air freshening compositions, laundry detergents, fabric enhancers, surface cleaners, beauty care products, dish care products, diapers, feminine protection articles, and plastic films for garbage bags. Such malodor control technologies do not unduly interfere with the scent of the perfumed or unperfumed situs that is treated with the malodor control technology.
