TRANSMISSION CIRCUIT

A transmission circuit includes a first impedance circuit, a second impedance circuit, and a phase shifter. Each of the first impedance circuit and the second impedance circuit includes a register circuitry and a control circuitry that controls a resistance value of the register circuitry. The first impedance circuit is configured to output a reflected wave of an input signal to the phase shifter. The phase shifter is configured to shift a phase of the input signal to input the input signal to the first impedance circuit and to shift a phase of the reflected wave of the input signal output from the first impedance circuit to output the reflected wave to the combiner circuit. The second impedance circuit is configured to output the reflected wave of the input signal to the combiner circuit.

A module and system are provided for reducing or suppressing ringing occurring in a digital signal to be transmitted. A transmission module Ma includes a transmitter 200a configured to transmit a digital signal, a transmission antenna 100a constituted by a metal plate, or by a conductor formed on an insulator, the transmission antenna 100a being configured to be electromagnetically or magnetically coupled to a reception antenna 100b of a non-contact reception module Mb for digital communication, and a resistor 400a connected in series between the transmitter 200a and the transmission antenna 100a. The resistor 400a has such a resistance value that the resistor 400a entirely blunts a waveform of the digital signal outputted from the transmitter 200a so as to reduce or suppress ringing occurring in the digital signal. The blunted digital signal is to be inputted into the transmission antenna 100a.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the measuring device comprises the following: a measuring circuit connected to one or more sensors; an RF frontend for near field communication (NFC) with an external device; a controller circuit coupled to the RF frontend and the measuring circuit and operative to receive measured values supplied from the measuring circuit, and wherein the controller circuit is further operative to check whether active communication with the external device occurs during a measurement and to store or discard one or more measured values supplied from the measuring circuit depending on this check. It is checked whether an NFC magnetic field is present during the measurement. Further configurations include a system comprising a measuring device and an NFC-enabled device.
