Systems, devices and methods are provided to deliver messages between a television distributor and groups of television receivers. A data processing system provides a message exchange service that routes messages to any number of queues based upon various routing keys. Each of the customer-operated television receivers establishes a queue with the routing service that is bound to any number of routing keys. Keys may be selected based upon characteristics of the receiver, geographic factors, demographic factors, subscribed services, customer preferences or the like. When a service wants to send a message to a particular group, it sends the message to the group's routing key, and the routing service delivers the messages to each of the receivers bound to that particular key.

The method of transmitting a broadcast signal according to the present invention provides a system capable of supporting future broadcast services in environments supporting next-generation hybrid broadcast using terrestrial broadcast networks and the Internet. In addition, efficient signaling methods capable of covering both terrestrial broadcast networks and the Internet in environments supporting future hybrid broadcast are provided.

In a service server 3, meta-data added with a CM mark necessary to extract commercial pictures (CM) which are broadcasted while contained in a content are generated, and registered in a meta-data data base 302. The meta-data are transmitted to a reception terminal 2, and registered in a meta-data data base 204. When receiving a broadcast content, the reception terminal 2 extracts a content added with CM mark as CM, and registered into a CM data base 202 on the basis of meta-data registered in the meta-data data base 204. A device may receive, from a source device, first information relating to programs provided by a media content service provider. The programs may include media content. The device may generate a program schedule based on the first information. The program schedule may identify a program. The device may publish the program schedule for enrichment using second information that is different from the first information, and may receive the second information based on publishing the program schedule. The second information may include information aggregated from external source devices that are different from the source device. The device may generate an enriched program schedule using the program schedule and the second information.

In one aspect, the system generates a data usage pattern for the user and monitors the user's current data usage activity to detect data usage deviations from the user's usage pattern. When a deviation is detected, the system may send an alert message to the user or another user indicating that an anomaly may have occurred, permitting the user or another user to respond to the anomaly.
