Channel quality related format determination for wireless communication
The present disclosure provides a method and device in a node for wireless communications. A first receiver receives a first signal and a second signal; a first transmitter transmits a third signal in a first radio resource pool; wherein the first signal is used for determining first information, the first information being related to channel quality between the first node and a transmitter of the first signal; the second signal is used for determining second information, the second information being related to channel quality between a transmitter of the second signal and the first node; the transmitter of the first signal is different from the transmitter of the second signal; and the first information and the second information are used together for determining a magnitude of time-domain resources occupied by the third signal.
System and method for resilient wireless packet communications
Rapid failure detection and recovery in wireless communication networks is needed in order to meet, among other things, carrier class Ethernet transport channel standards. Thus, resilient wireless packet communications is provided using a hardware-assisted rapid transport channel failure detection algorithm and a Gigabit Ethernet data access card with an engine configured accordingly. In networks with various topologies, this is provided in combination with their existing protocols, such as rapid spanning tree and link aggregation protocols, respectively.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTINUOUS-VARIABLE QUANTUM KEY DISTRIBUTION
The subject matter described herein provides a method and a system for continuous-variable quantum key distribution, CVQKD, between a sender sub-system and a receiver sub-system. The method includes transmitting a quantum key distribution, QKD, signal from a quantum communication transmitter to a quantum communication receiver over a quantum communication channel. The method further includes performing post-processing including forward error correction, FEC as a part of reverse reconciliation between the receiver sub-system and the sender sub-system, where erroneous frames are discarded for key establishment. A value of the reconciliation efficiency, VRE β, is set to be larger than 1.
INTERCONNECT INTERFACE
An interconnect interface is applied between sockets or between dies. The interconnect interface includes a first transmitter (TX), a first receiver (RX), and an electrical physical layer (EPHY) coupled between the first TX and the first RX. The data provided by a first device is transmitted from the first TX to the EPHY and then received by the first RX to be retrieved by a second device. The first TX includes an arbiter for arbitrating between a plurality of channels of the first device to obtain data from the first device. The first TX includes a packet generator, which packs the data obtained from the first device into a packet to be transmitted through the EPHY. The first TX further includes a first buffer that backs up the data obtained from the first device for retransmission.
INTERCONNECT SYSTEM
A interconnect system, including a plurality of sockets and a first interconnect interface. Any two of the sockets are accessible to each other's hardware resources by transmitting a first packet and a second packet through the first interconnect interface. The first packet includes first interconnect information, used for establishing communication between the two sockets. The second packet includes a first data payload, loaded from one of the two sockets. The sockets include a first socket and a second socket, configured to be interconnected with each other through the first interconnect interface.

OFDM transmission method and device in wireless LAN system
An apparatus and method for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system is disclosed, in which the apparatus for OFDM transmission in the WLAN system includes a signal repetition unit to repeat an encoded signal based on a block unit and output the encoded signal and a repeated signal, an interleaver to interleave the encoded signal and the repeated signal and output an interleaved signal, a modulator to modulate the interleaved signal and output modulated symbols, and a phase rotation unit to phase shift the modulated symbol.
Transmitter and Receiver for Wireless Communications Based on Multidimensional Codebooks, and Methods of Operating the Same
A wireless transmitter, receiver and a method of wireless communication, the method including obtaining prime factors for a number N.sub.RE of time-frequency resources, including at least two different prime factors, generating a codebook comprising at least one codeword, each of the at least one codeword being generated by multiplying at least one mask sequence with one vector of an orthogonal set of vectors, and each mask sequence of the at least one mask sequence being obtained from an exponentiation operation involving a base and an exponent, the base being defined by the at least two different prime factors, and the exponent being defined by a quadratic polynomial having a number of m variables, where m is equal to a total number of the prime factors constituting N.sub.RE, and providing, to a receiver, information bits in at least one of the at least one codeword over the N.sub.RE time-frequency resources.
Low latency wireless protocol for audio and gaming
A wireless communication method and protocol for wireless RF transmission of data, e.g. audio data, with low latency. The method involves a fixed part (FP) serving as synchronization master, and one or more portable parts (PP) being synchronization slaves. The FP performs scanning between a set of supported channels within one limited frequency band, such as within an ISM band. Further, the FP performs collecting measures of RF interference level on at least a plurality of the supported channels in response to the scanning, preferably using own interference level measurement and by collecting RSSI data from the PP for the supported channels. In response to these measures of RF interference level, the FP executes a selection algorithm for selecting and re-selecting first and second different frequencies for respective first and second duplex RF bearers from the set of supported channels to select the channels with least RF interference. Finally, the FP transmits, in one frame of such as 1 ms to 3 ms length, the same data packet on both of said first and second duplex RF bearer frequencies to the PP. This provides a roboust and low latency wireless interface suitable for Human Interface Devices and audio devices, e.g. for gaining equipment.
