Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for feeding back channel estimation in a MIMO system. A terminal receives a reference signal for estimating a channel from a base station; estimates the channel based on the reference signal; generates channel estimation information according to the channel estimation result and generates error information indicating an error of the channel estimation; and transmits feedback information including the channel estimation information and the error information to the base station.
Wireless communication apparatus and method for generating midamble and controlling transmission power
The present technology relates to a wireless communication apparatus and method by which communication can be performed with a higher efficiency. The wireless communication apparatus includes a preamble generation section that generates a preamble that is to be deployed at the top of a transmission frame and includes header information, a midamble generation section that generates a midamble that is to be deployed in the middle of the transmission frame and includes information of at least part of the header information, and a wireless transmission processing section that transmits the transmission frame including the preamble and the midamble. The present technology can be applied to a wireless communication apparatus.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING IN-BAND CONTROL INFORMATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
Various aspects of the present disclosure provide for methods, apparatus, and computer software for transmitting in-band control information in a wireless communication channel. A control and data information coding scheme is utilized to reduce the block error rate (BLER) of in-band control information in various scenarios. A subframe carries coded control information, coded data information, and coded control-data information for reducing the BLER of the in-band control information. The coded control information and coded data information are mix-coded to generate coded control-data information.

A method and a device for reducing a bit error rate in a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) communication system are described, wherein this method includes: a sample sequence I.sub.in of an in-phase component signal I, and a sample sequence Q.sub.in of a quadrature component signal Q are obtained, and the signals are sent by a signal sending end; the obtained sample sequence I.sub.in and the sample sequence Q.sub.in are divided into different groups according to a sample number Ns of a chip, a sum-average operation is performed on a signal in each group, and a corresponding signal group is determined, wherein, the signal group determined by performing the sum-average operation on the sample sequence I.sub.in is W.sub.I, the signal group determined by performing the sum-average operation on the sample sequence Q.sub.in is W.sub.Q; and a signal in the signal group W.sub.I and the signal group W.sub.Q is grouped to determine a signal belonging to the same chip in the sample sequence which experiences the sum-average operation, and the determined signal is output. The disclosure solves a problem in the related art that a CDMA synchronization method possesses a wrong sampling situation, which results in a high bit error rate of a receiving end, and reduces the bit error rate.

The method includes, encoding, by an encoder, PLP(Physical Layer Pipe) data; time interleaving, by a time interleaver, the encoded PLP data; frame mapping, by a framer, the time interleaved PLP data onto at least one signal frames; frequency interleaving, by a frequency interleaver, data in the at least one signal frames; and waveform modulating, by a waveform module, the frequency interleaved data in the at least one signal frame and transmitting, by the waveform module, broadcast signals having the modulated data, wherein the frequency interleaving is conducted according to an interleaving mode, wherein the interleaving mode is determined based on a FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) size.
