DYNAMIC MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION
An authentication model dynamically adjusts authentication factors required for access to a remote resource based on changes to a risk score for a user, a device, or some combination of these. For example, the authentication model may conditionally specify the number and type of authentication factors required by a user/device pair, and may dynamically alter authentication requirements based on changes to a current risk assessment for the user/device while the remote resource is in use.
System, method, and computer program for determining a network situation in a communication network
A system, method, and computer program product are provided for a determining a network situation in a communication network. In use, at least one threshold value of at least one operational parameter of a communication network is obtained, the at least one operational parameter representing at least one operational status of at least one of a computational device or a communication device. Additionally, log data of the communication network is obtained, the log data containing at least one value of the at least one operational parameter reported by at least one network entity of the communication network. The at least one value of the at least one operational parameter of the log data is compared with a corresponding threshold value of the at least one threshold value to form a detection of a network situation. Further, the detection of the network situation is reported if the at least one value of the at least one operational parameter of the log data traverses the corresponding threshold value of the at least one threshold value.
Auto-completion for gesture-input in assistant systems
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving an initial input in a first modality from a first user from a client system associated with the first user, determining one or more intents corresponding to the initial input by an intent-understanding module, generating one or more candidate continuation-inputs based on the one or more intents, where the one or more candidate continuation-inputs are in one or more candidate modalities, respectively, and wherein the candidate modalities are different from the first modality, and sending instructions for presenting one or more suggested inputs corresponding to one or more of the candidate continuation-inputs to the client system.
Network management system and method for access network
A premises networking device includes hardware components including speakers, microphone, infrared sensor, spectrum analyzer and wireless interfaces. A touch screen display presents a user interface that provides information about network conditions and configuration settings and a menu for setting and changing configuration settings. Different versions of the user interface are displayed based on whether a user is in proximity to the device. The user interface includes shapes representing user devices, the visual characteristics of which change based on the current network conditions. A health score, which is an evaluation of network performance based on measurements of aspects of the conditions of the network, is displayed in real time. A network management system includes a network management platform for storing network conditions and configuration information and pushing the information to premises networking devices. An application programming interface allows third-party applications to send instructions to and access data from various system processes.
Systems and methods for disaggregated software defined networking control
A software defined networking (SDN) controller for a communication network is provided. The SDN controller includes a northbound interface, a southbound interface, and a database as a service (DBaaS) layer. The northbound interface includes an application layer having one or more independent SDN applications. The southbound interface includes an adapter layer having one or more independent device adapters. The DBaaS layer includes a persistent DBaaS unit and a state DBaaS unit.
VEHICLE DATA COMMUNICATION DEVICE, CENTER DEVICE, DATA COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE NON-TRANSITORY TANGIBLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A vehicle data communication device mounted in a vehicle having a plurality of ECUs. The vehicle data communication device wirelessly communicates data with a center device. The vehicle data communication device comprises: a plurality of communication clients each pairing with a respective one of a plurality of distribution servers included in the center device; a communication information acquisition unit acquiring information of a communication carrier and a region where the center device is located; a client storage unit storing the plurality of communication clients each of which corresponds to the corresponding one of the plurality of distribution servers; and a client selection unit (i) selecting one of the plurality of communication clients that corresponds to the communication carrier and the region that are specified by the information and (ii) activating the selected one of the plurality of communication clients to enable data communication with the corresponding distribution server.
TRACEROUTE FOR MULTI-PATH ROUTING
In general, techniques are described for extending network connectivity software utilities, such as traceroute, to provide complete visibility into a network topology between a source device and a destination device, even when an intermediate network device may be actively utilizing multiple network links when forwarding packets toward the destination. In one example, a network device coupled to a plurality of paths and positioned between a source network device and destination network device may receive a traceroute packet. The network device may also, for each of the plurality of paths, modify a payload of the traceroute packet to include a respective identifier for a corresponding path of the plurality of paths to construct a respective modified traceroute packet for the corresponding path. The network device may also forward the respective modified traceroute packets on the corresponding paths.
Server of statistics for optimization of client-server requests
A method for executing a client application on a client terminal communicating with a server application on a server via a telecommunications network. The client application includes at least two views, at least one view being configured to establish at least one request to the server application. According to the method, the client application is associated with a data structure relating to the views of the application, in which at least one parametrization attribute of the request is associated with a view. The method includes the following steps on the client application: selecting a view, termed a current view; obtaining of an attribute associated with the current view in the data structure relating to the views of the application; and generating a request to the server application.
System for creating network troubleshooting procedure
A system for constructing and storing procedures for troubleshooting computer networks. A user can design and add troubleshooting steps, via a GUI, to define the procedure including annotations. Each step is configured to take an action on the network. The order of the steps can be re-arranged via the GUI. The procedure can be stored and re-executed by another user.
Agent-based network scanning in software-defined networking (SDN) environments
Example methods are provided for a network scanning controller to perform agent-based network scanning in a software-defined networking (SDN) environment. In one example, the method may comprise identifying multiple networks for which network scanning is required, performing a first network scan using a first agent to obtain first address mapping information associated with multiple first workloads, and performing a second network scan using a second agent to obtain second address mapping information associated with multiple second workloads. The first agent and the multiple first workloads may be located in a first network, and the second agent and the multiple second workloads in a second network. The method may also comprise generating aggregated address information based on the first address mapping information and the second address mapping information.
