As described herein, a system, method, and computer program are provided for AWS autoscaling of Tuxedo systems. In use, an AWS cloud based deployment of a Tuxedo system is identified. Further, autoscaling of the Tuxedo system is provided in accordance with an autoscaling configuration of the AWS, using a Tuxedo registrar that maps AWS EC2 DNS names or internet protocol (IP) addresses with Tuxedo-compliant names capable of being used by the Tuxedo system.

Technologies for accelerated orchestration and attestation include multiple edge devices. An edge appliance device performs an attestation process with each of its components to generate component certificates. The edge appliance device generates an appliance certificate that is indicative of the component certificates and a current utilization of the edge appliance device and provides the appliance certificate to a relying party. The relying party may be an edge orchestrator device. The edge orchestrator device receives a workload scheduling request with a service level agreement requirement. The edge orchestrator device verifies the appliance certificate and determines whether the service level agreement requirement is satisfied based on the appliance certificate. If satisfied, the workload is scheduled to the edge appliance device. Attestation and generation of the appliance certificate by the edge appliance device may be performed by an accelerator of the edge appliance device. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

A method for creating resources and a corresponding registration method, server, client device, and computer readable storage medium. The method for creating resources includes: receiving a registration request; determining a registration type corresponding to the registration request; creating a resource corresponding to the registration type on the basis of the registration type.

Some embodiments of the present invention comprise a method, system, and/or computer program product for a publish/subscribe messaging system. A processor identifies a subscriber of a pub/sub messaging system. The processor retrieves a stored encrypted key for the identified subscriber of the pub/sub messaging system. The processor communicates the retrieved encrypted key to a user selected from a group comprising a publisher of the pub/sub messaging system and the identified subscriber of the pub/sub messaging system. The processor implements end-to-end encryption of messages of the pub/sub messaging system based on key-groups.

An improved system and method are disclosed for improving functionality in software applications. In one example, the method includes a computing entity having a network interface, a processor, and a memory configured to store a plurality of instructions. The instructions include instructions for a superblock application having instructions for a function block included therein. The function block is configured to provide functions that are accessible to the superblock application via an application programming interface (API). The functions are provided within the superblock application itself and are accessible within the superblock application without switching context to another application on the computing entity.

A method and apparatus for creating a custom service in a communication network are disclosed. For example, the method implemented via a processor determines that the custom service does not exist, receives one or more desired functions for the custom service, creates the custom service having the one or more desired functions and modifies one or more network elements within the communication network to perform the one or more desired functions to deploy the custom service.

A method for displaying an event feed to a user includes, at an event feed service in communication with an issue tracking system and a collaborative document system, receiving, from an issue tracking system including a plurality of issue tickets, a notification of an event associated with an issue ticket and a reference to the issue ticket, and receiving, from a collaborative document system including a plurality of user-generated documents, a notification of an event associated with a user-generated document and including a reference to the user-generated document. The method may further include causing at least a portion of an event feed to be displayed to the user, the event feed including a first feed item including a first actionable input object configured to cause a modification of the issue, and a second feed item including a second actionable input object configured to cause a modification of the user-generated document.

Techniques are described for enabling a cloud-based IT and security operations application to execute playbooks containing custom code in a manner that mitigates types of risk related to the misuse of cloud-based resources and security of user data. Users use a client application to create and modify playbooks and, upon receiving input to save a playbook, the client application determines whether the playbook includes custom code. If the client application determines that the playbook includes custom code, the client application establishes a connection with a proxy application (also referred to as an “automation broker”) running in the user's own on-premises network and sends a representation of the playbook to the proxy application. The client application further sends to the IT and security operations application an identifier of the playbook and an indication that the playbook (or the custom code portions of the playbook) is stored within the user's on-premises network.

An information processing apparatus is configured to manage, in a storage, device information about a plurality of management target devices. The information processing apparatus includes an acceptance unit configured to, in a case where a device search on a network is to be set, accept settings including a first specification about a search range for finding a management target device and a second specification about information for identifying a non-management target device, an identification unit configured to identify device information about the non-management target device corresponding to the second specification included in the accepted settings from the device information managed in the storage, and a deletion unit configured to delete the identified device information from the device information managed in the storage.

In an optical communication system, a high-speed data interface to an optical module can be configured from the module's host-side interface and line-side interface. These module interfaces can be configured with an integrated digital signal processor (DSP) having a DSP microcontroller unit (MCU) as a high-speed in-band DSP management interface. The DSP MCU can communicate to either a host MCU in a host switch/router via the host-side interface or to an external device through the optics hardware via the line-side interface. The present invention provides for systems, devices, and methods using this interface for numerous module DSP-related applications, such as firmware upgrades, management data, diagnostic/telemetry streaming, encryption key programming, and the like.
