Method and apparatus for providing shared user interface view
An approach for providing a shared user interface view is described. A user interface view sharing platform may present a user interface view at a first device for interacting with a second device, wherein the first device has an interface to the second device. The user interface view sharing platform may further encode the user interface view, data associated with the first device, other data associated with the second device, or a combination thereof into a data payload. The user interface view sharing platform may also transmit the data payload to a third device, wherein the user interface view, the data associated with the first device, the other data associated with the second device, or a combination thereof is reconstructed at the third device for interacting with the second device via the third device based on the data payload.
METHOD AND APPARATUS TO COORDINATE AND AUTHENTICATE REQUESTS FOR DATA
A method and apparatus for coordinating and authenticating requests for data. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises: a baseboard management controller (BMC); and a request coordinator coupled to the BMC to intercept BMC requests and to provide intercepted requests to the BMC, where the coordination interface comprises a request parser to parse parameters for each of the BMC requests, one or more queues to store the requests while the BMC is servicing another BMC request, and a command submitter to send individual BMC requests to the BMC, wherein the BMC is operable to generate the responses to the BMC requests received from the coordination interface and to send the responses to the coordination interface.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM STORING CONNECTION INFORMATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
An electronic device includes: a wireless communication section that executes P2P wireless communication; an FW update mode switching section that switches a mode of the electronic device to an FW update mode in which a firmware of the electronic device is updated; and a connection information management section that manages connection information required for a connection setup for the P2P wireless communication executed by the wireless communication section. The connection information management section keeps the connection information when a power source of the electronic device is turned on after turned off in a specific situation, and changes the connection information when the power source of the electronic device is turned on after turned off in a situation other than the specific situation, and the specific situation includes an FW update situation in which the mode of the electronic device is the FW update mode.
Host computer securitization architecture
The host computer securitization architecture, which comprises: an offline source server, an offline provisioning server configured to connect with a portable mobile securitization server via a wired communication, an administration server configured to monitor and interact with at least one portable mobile securitization server, at least one portable mobile securitization server configured to connect via a wired communication to a host computer, said portable mobile securitization server comprising: a connector to mechanically connect and establish a removable wired communication between the mobile server and the host computer, a first wired bidirectional communicator with the host computer, a second of bidirectional communicator with a data storage peripheral or a data network and a unit securing the communication between the host computer and the data storage mobile server or the data network, this communication being established between the first and the second communicator, a blockchain comprising a block identifying each source-code, provisioning, administration and portable mobile securitization server.
Method of managing external devices, method of operating external device, host device, management server, and external device
Provided is a method of a host device managing at least one external device connected to the host device through a management server. The method includes: obtaining measurement information measured by the at least one external device; requesting authorization by the management server; transmitting the obtained measurement information to the management server when the authentication succeeds; receiving management information for managing the at least one external device, where the management information is generated based on the measurement information by the management server; and managing the at least one external device based on the received management information.
Direct binary file transfer based network management system free of messaging, commands and data format conversions
Telecommunication network management operations are performed based on accessing network management data (NMD) files via GUIs and general purpose computers including a network management system (NMS) server, and automatic routines for transferring binary NMD files between the general purpose computers and remote network elements (NEs) being managed. A system user produces configuration files at the NMS server for NEs using a network management GUI, and the hardware of NEs automatically complete the network management operations indicated by the NMD files transferred to them from the NMS server and produce their status files to the NMS server. The network management GUI displays network status based on the latest NE status files at the NMS server. This provides direct, binary file transfer based NMS communication that avoids the complexity and restrictions of intermediate messaging protocols or transaction languages and conversions thereof.
HIGH DENSITY COMMUNICATIONS DEVICE
A communication device which includes at least four first plate communication interfaces disposed along one length of one side of the device housing is disclosed. The device also includes at least four second plate communication interfaces that are disposed along the length of the second side of the device housing. The at least four second plate communication interfaces includes at least four universal serial bus (USB) ports. At least one circuit board is disposed in the device housing and electrically connected to the first and second plate communication interfaces.
Route Tracing in Software Defined Networks
Mechanisms are provided for tracing a route taken by a packet in a Software Defined Network (SDN). Each switch in the SDN is assigned a first color label, from a set of color labels, such that such that adjacent switches have different color labels. Rules are installed in each switch to forward a received data packet to the SDN controller in response to a second color label of the received data packet not matching the first color label assigned to the switch. A second color label, from the set of color labels, is assigned to a trace data packet. A route of the trace data packet is traced through the SDN based on the second color label and application of the one or more rules to the trace data packet at each of the switches in the SDN as the trace data packet is received by each of the switches in the SDN.
