INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, SERVER, AND TERMINAL DEVICE
A system includes: a server; and a terminal. The server manages a first connection state indicating a state of connection with the terminal based on whether the connection with the terminal is determined as established, and performs deallocation or reuse of a server-side resource allocated by the server, based on whether the first connection state is synchronized with a second connection state managed in the terminal. The terminal repeatedly checks a connection with the server using the connection path including the at least part in which the wireless communication is performed, and manages the second connection state indicating a state of the connection with the server, based on whether the connection with the server is determined as established. The terminal performs deallocation or reuse of a terminal-side resource allocated by the terminal, based on whether the second connection state is synchronized with the first connection state.
System and method for cloud-based analytics
A system and method in accordance with example embodiments may include systems and methods for a cloud-based analytics platform. The cloud-based analytics platform may allow the manual and automatic uploading to and/or downloading from a cloud server. The platform may include single sign-on (SSO) capabilities such that a user may have one set of credentials to access data from the cloud-based analytics and/or data stored locally. The platform may include data validation and processing in order to provide real-time feedback on uploads based on file type, file size, access rights, extracted data, and transformed data.

CENTRAL USER MANAGEMENT IN A DISTRIBUTED HEALTHCARE INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Centralized support user management in a distributed healthcare information management system is disclosed. Support user management may include generation of permission data that may be distributed from a central server to one or more remote access terminals, which may execute a healthcare information management application such as, for example, a pharmacy workflow management application. The permission data is used to authenticate remote verification users, thereby enabling remote verification of the preparation of medication doses at individual dose preparation work stations.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREDENTIALING OF NON LOCAL REQUESTORS IN DECOUPLED SYSTEMS UTILIZING A DOMAIN LOCAL AUTHENTICATOR
Embodiments as disclosed provide systems and methods that use a local authenticator within a domain to provide a credential to access a resource of the domain to a non-local requestor. When a request is received from a non-local requestor at the domain the non-local requestor can be authenticated based on the request. The local authenticator can then be accessed to obtain a credential. This credential may be the same type of credential provided to members of the domain when they authenticate using the local authenticator. The credential is provided to the non-local requestor so the non-local requestor can access the resource of the domain using the credential and authentication of the non-local requestor with respect to these accesses can be accomplished using the local domain authenticator and the credential.
REQUEST PROCESSING IN A CONTENT DELIVERY FRAMEWORK
A node in a content delivery network (CDN) receives a request for content and determines information about the request. When sufficient information about the content is determined, the request is assigned to an appropriate CD service to process the request; and when insufficient information about the content is determined, the request is assigned to a generic CD service to process the request. The generic CD service processes the request; and provides updated information about the content to be used for processing future requests. An appropriate CD service processing a request may also provide updated information about the content to be used for processing future requests.

MESSAGING ACHIEVEMENT PICTOGRAPH DISPLAY SYSTEM
Systems and methods for causing display of a messaging achievement pictograph based on messaging activity are provided. In some example embodiments, a message activity communication is received by a messaging activity service from a client device, the messaging active communication causing and adjustment to a message activity score and the message activity score transgressing a first threshold activity score. Responsive to the message activity transgressing the first threshold activity score, an achievement pictograph is displayed on the client device. In some example embodiments, the pictograph may be ephemeral and removal of the pictograph may be triggered by a designated time or by the message activity score transgressing a second threshold activity score. In some example embodiments, a notification is generated that notifies a user of the display or removal from display of the achievement pictograph.
SYSTEM PROVIDING FASTER AND MORE EFFICIENT DATA COMMUNICATION
A system designed for increasing network communication speed for users, while lowering network congestion for content owners and ISPs. The system employs network elements including an acceleration server, clients, agents, and peers, where communication requests generated by applications are intercepted by the client on the same machine. The IP address of the server in the communication request is transmitted to the acceleration server, which provides a list of agents to use for this IP address. The communication request is sent to the agents. One or more of the agents respond with a list of peers that have previously seen some or all of the content which is the response to this request (after checking whether this data is still valid). The client then downloads the data from these peers in parts and in parallel, thereby speeding up the Web transfer, releasing congestion from the Web by fetching the information from multiple sources, and relieving traffic from Web servers by offloading the data transfers from them to nearby peers.
