Media stream sending method, apparatus, system and device

A media stream sending method, apparatus, and system includes a proxy server that receives a first live broadcast room request message and a second live broadcast room request message that are sent by a same proxy client; the proxy server receives a first live media stream that is sent by a media server to a first client and a second live media stream that is sent by the media server to a second client; and when a role of the first client is a master user and a role of the second client is a slave user, the proxy server sends the first live media stream to the proxy client such that the proxy client sends the first live media stream to the first client and the second client.

Provided are systems, methods, and computer-program products for a proxy network that can determine, for a set of objects, an initial differential, where the initial differential is determined using a rules data store of a host network. The proxy network can further determine a supplemental differential for the set of objects. The proxy network can further determine a final differential that is the sum of the initial differential and the supplemental differential. The proxy network can further determine a final sum for the set of objects that is the object value less the final differential. The proxy network can further generate an outbound data packet that includes values corresponding to the set of objects and the final sum. When the host network receives the outbound data packet, the host network can modify an object data store using the values corresponding to the set of objects and the final sum.

NETWORK MAPPING IN CONTENT DELIVERY NETWORK
20200404052 · 2020-12-24 · ·

A computer-implemented method in a content delivery network (CDN) having multiple delivery servers. The CDN delivers content on behalf of at least one content provider. Distinct delivery servers are logically grouped into delivery server groups. One or more CDN name servers are associated with some of the delivery server groups. Network map data are determined using network data determined by the CDN name servers associated with at least some of the deliver server groups. The network data with respect to a CDN name server relative to a resolver is based on an estimated popularity of that CDN name server for that resolver. Responsive to a client request, including a hostname associated with a content provider, at least one CDN name server determines, using network map data, at least one delivery server to process the client request.

METHODS AND APPARATUS TO SCHEDULE SERVICE REQUESTS IN A NETWORK COMPUTING SYSTEM USING HARDWARE QUEUE MANAGERS

An example system to schedule service requests in a network computing system using hardware queue managers includes: a gateway-level hardware queue manager in an edge gateway to schedule the service requests received from client devices in a queue; a rack-level hardware queue manager in a physical rack in communication with the edge gateway, the rack-level hardware queue manager to send a pull request to the gateway-level hardware queue manager for a first one of the service requests; and a drawer-level hardware queue manager in a drawer of the physical rack, the drawer-level hardware queue manager to send a second pull request to the rack-level hardware queue manager for the first one of the service requests, the drawer including a resource to provide a function as a service specified in the first one of the service requests.

User interface for just-in-time image processing

Technology is disclosed for an image editing tool that generates a recipe for just-in-time processing of images (the technology). Various embodiments of the technology include an image processing system that provides image processing services to a client system that publishes content including an image to end users. The image processing system processes the image based on a recipe to generate a processed image. The image editing tool is integrated into an application, e.g., webpage or a web browser, that displays the content. A user, e.g., administrator of the client system, can use the image editing tool to edit the image on the webpage and generate the recipe including instructions regarding the edits. The recipe is transmitted to the image processing system which processes the image based on the recipe, and transmits the processed image to the client system for further transmission to the end users accessing the content.

CLASSIFICATION OF MESSAGES USING LEARNED RULES

The subject technology receives, in an application on an electronic device, a message, the message being associated with a user and including information in a header portion of the message. The subject technology determines, on the electronic device, a current state of messaging activity of the user based at least in part on a log of previous events associated with the user, where the log of previous events includes information that has been hashed using a cryptographic hash function. The subject technology determines, on the electronic device using a set of rules provided by a machine learning model, that the user is likely to view the message based on the current state of the messaging activity of the user. The subject technology sets, on the electronic device, an indication that the message is important based on the determining.

Data server unit and communication system including master-slave management circuitry

A data server includes a controller, a memory that stores first information collected from devices, and master-slave management circuitry that sets whether the data server operates according to one of a master function for managing a data server and a slave function for being managed by the data server. In a case where the master function is set by the master-slave management circuitry, the controller sends to an external client, in response to receiving a data collection request from the external client, information corresponding to the data collection request that is one of data stored in the memory and data received from the other data server. In a case where the slave function is set by the master-slave management circuitry, the controller sends the first information to the other data server in which the master function is set.

The present invention provides an IP address allocation method for a master-slave network, an apparatus, and a system. A master device generates an IP address sub-segment group, and separately sends at least one IP address sub-segment in the IP address sub-segment group to at least one slave device, so that the slave device can use a received IP address sub-segment as a DHCP server address and allocate an IP address to a user device. In this way, the slave device can directly allocate the IP address to the user device, so that an IP address allocation time is reduced.
