Dictionary configuration method, buffer control method, network side device and user equipment
A dictionary configuration method, a buffer control method, a network side device and a UE are provided. The buffer control method for the network side device includes: receiving, by the network side device, first check information transmitted by the UE; determining, by the network side device, whether content in a compression buffer of the UE is identical to content in a decompression buffer of the network side device; and when the content in the compression buffer is different from the content in the decompression buffer, transmitting, by the network side device, buffer resetting information to the UE.
Ethernet header compression techniques in New Radio
The disclosure includes a method at a device configured to process both wireless data traffic and Ethernet data traffic into a wireless communication, comprising determining, at a compressor, whether an acknowledgement (ACK) signal is received from a decompressor in response to transmitting, over a wireless communication link, a context creation message for a context identification (ID) associated with a flow of incoming Ethernet data traffic; refraining from transmitting, by the compressor to the decompressor over the wireless communication link, a compressed packet corresponding to the flow based on a first determination that the ACK signal is not received from the decompressor; and transmitting, by the compressor to the decompressor over the wireless communication link, the compressed packet corresponding to the flow based on a second determination that the ACK signal is received from the decompressor.

PRODUCING VEHICLE DATA PRODUCTS USING DOWNLOADABLE MODELS
A data product system and method for generating and providing a data product using data supplied by a multitude of vehicles. The data product system includes in-vehicle data selection computer instructions and a remote data product system storing backend computer instructions. When the in-vehicle data selection computer instructions are executed at a vehicle, the vehicle: obtains data used to derive or otherwise obtain one or more data items specified by a selected data model and processes and transmits the data item(s) as a second data stream to a remote data repository. When the backend computer instructions are executed at the remote data product system, the remote data product system selects a data model as the selected data model, causes the selected data model to be delivered to the vehicle, generates a second data product based on the data item(s), and provides the second data product to a third party.
Remotely Controlling Access to Online Content
Various embodiments provide an approach to controlled access to online content. Such control may be based on a multitude of factors including but not limited to website content, profile for the person consuming the data. In operation, machine-learning techniques are used to classify the websites based on community and social media inputs, crowd-sourced data, as well as access rules implemented by parents or system administrators. Feedback from users/admins of the system, including the instances of allowed or denied access to websites, in conjunction with other relevant parameters, is used for iterative machine-learning techniques. Embodiments may also allow for real, or near real-time, approval or denial of access to websites by registered admins.
Remote LPWAN gateway with backhaul over a high-latency communication system
A terrestrial data communication gateway device for satellite communication comprising: at least one processor; memory accessible to the at least one processor; a LPWAN wireless communication subsystem for communication with multiple remote devices; a satellite communication subsystem for communication with at least one low earth orbit satellite. The memory stores program code executable by the processor to cause the processor to: perform server functions in relation to the multiple remote devices, and configure an edge computing module to perform data processing operations on signals received by the LPWAN communication subsystem. The data processing operations comprise compression of data received by the LPWAN communication subsystem to generate a compressed payload for transmission by the satellite communication subsystem. The memory comprises a backhaul scheduling module to schedule communication of a transmission by the satellite communication subsystem to the low earth orbit satellite.
Method, apparatus, electronic device and storage medium for broadcasting voice
A method, an apparatus, an electronic device and a storage medium for broadcasting a voice are provided. The method may include: sending a voice broadcast request to a server, where the voice broadcast request includes at least one of scenario information, user information or voice packet setting information; receiving a voice broadcast instruction corresponding to the voice broadcast request returned by the server; and acquiring a personalized voice packet corresponding to the voice broadcast instruction in a local database and broadcasting the personalized voice packet.
Systems and methods for data deduplication by generating similarity metrics using sketch computation
A method for data reduction may comprise computing (i) a first sketch of a first segment and (ii) a second sketch of a second segment. The first sketch and the second sketch may each comprise a set of features that are representative of or unique to the corresponding first and second segments. The method also comprise processing the first sketch and the second sketch to generate a similarity metric indicative of whether the second segment is similar to the first segment. The method may further comprise (1) performing a differencing operation on the second segment relative to the first segment when the similarity metric is greater than or equal to a similarity threshold, or (2) storing the first segment and the second segment in a database without performing the differencing operation when the similarity metric is less than the similarity threshold.

Distinguishing between quality of service management frames (QMFS) and non-QMFS in protocol version 1 (PV1)
A method by a wireless transmitting device for distinguishing between a quality of service (QoS) management frame and a non-QoS management frame is described. The method includes generating a frame that includes a frame header, wherein the frame header includes a frame control field, wherein the frame control field includes a partial traffic identifier or subtype (PTID/subtype) subfield, wherein the PTID/subtype subfield indicates whether the frame is a quality of service (QoS) management frame or a non-QoS management frame and transmitting the frame through a wireless medium.
