A system, a method, and a computer program product for transmission of data using a multiple input, multiple output communications system with hybrid beamforming in a layer 1 split architecture. A first portion of a signal is processed at a first portion of a physical layer located in a first portion of a base station. A frequency domain compression with statistical multiplexing is applied to the processed first portion of the signal. A compressed first portion of the signal is generated. The compressed first portion of the signal and a second portion of the signal are transmitted to a second portion of the physical layer located in a second portion of the base station.

The hardware processor executes the software code to identify multicast production media flow(s) for processing in a cloud-based virtual production environment, to identify cloud-based resource(s) for processing one or more cloud production media flow(s) corresponding to the multicast production media flow(s), in the cloud-based virtual production environment, and to coordinate provisioning of the cloud-based virtual production environment with the identified cloud-based resource(s). The hardware processor also executes the software code to align, using a cloud permissible timing protocol, the timing of the cloud production media flow(s) in the cloud-based virtual production environment, and to process the cloud production media flow(s) in the cloud-based virtual production environment using the identified cloud-based resource(s).

A method for data reduction may comprise computing (i) a first sketch of a first segment and (ii) a second sketch of a second segment. SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MULTI-DEVICE MEDIA BROADCASTING OR RECORDING WITH ACTIVE CONTROL
The present disclosure describes systems and methods for multi-device media broadcasting or recording with active control. A controller may preview media streams from a plurality of source devices, and may select between the streams, add processing or additional content to the streams, and provide an edited or mixed stream to one or more client or recipient devices. In many implementations, mixing or selective presentation of streams may be accomplished with little to no delay via a lightweight signaling and chunk identification change protocol. In other implementations, processing and mixing instructions may be provided to client devices, which may retrieve the streams and process them locally, reducing or eliminating delay from an intermediary processor or mixer.

In an 802.11be wireless system, data units are generated for transmission by configuring a transmitting device to process encoding parameters, including a first encoding parameter N.sub.SD and a second encoding parameter N.sub.SD,short, to select a padding boundary from pre-defined padding boundaries in the last symbol that will most closely include the number of information bits N.sub.EXCESS in the last symbol and to append padding bits to the number of information bits N.sub.EXCESS to fill up to the selected padding boundary in the last symbol, thereby generating pre-encoded data bits which are encoded for data transmission, where at least the first encoding parameter N.sub.SD is specified for an aggregated resource unit size that is allowed under the 802.11be protocol as a sum of N.sub.SD values for at two other resource units.

The method for data compression comprises, converting data to be transmitted within each period, from the time domain to the frequency domain, wherein, a default time length is set as a period; identifying weak power frequencies in the frequency domain data according to a set identification rule; weighting data transmitted on the identified weak power frequencies to obtain corresponding weighting information; converting other data converted to the frequency domain and the weighted data back to time domain; compressing the data converted back to the time domain; and transmitting, the compressed data along the weighting information.
