Geolocation via internet protocol
Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for extracting information associated with one networking transmission protocol, such as Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), based on information associated with a different networking transmission protocol, such as Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv4). More specifically, when resolving an IP address for a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) through which a content file may be obtained, the system may base the resolved URL on attributes of an IPv4 address extracted from an IPv6 address for a machine associated with the request. In one particular example, a geographic location of a requested computing device or machine may be determined or estimated based on an IPv4 address extracted from an IPv6 address associated with the request.
Secure data redaction and masking in intercepted data interactions
A method for modifying intercepted data interactions is provided in the illustrative embodiments. At a security application executing in a security data processing system, an intercepted packet of data arranged according to a protocol is received from an intercepting agent executing in an intercepting data processing system. A security policy is applied to the intercepted packet. In an instruction according to a coding grammar, a modification of the intercepted packet is encoded. The instruction is suited for the encoding under a circumstance of the modifying. The instruction is sent to the intercepting agent. The intercepting agent at the intercepting data processing system performs the modification according to the security policy and independently of the protocol.
DATA STRUCTURE ENDIAN CONVERSION SYSTEM
A system that provides a service via a computer networking protocol converts input data from one endian type to another endian type according to a specified format of the input data. A method for converting data from one endian type to another endian type includes receiving a first data message having a plurality of data words via a computer networking protocol, stepping through a plurality of data format definitions of a data format specification that defines a data format of each of the plurality of data words according to a data type of the first data message while stepping through the plurality of data words at intervals according to the data format of each of the plurality of data words, converting a first data word of the plurality of data words from one endian type to a corresponding second data word of another endian type by byte swapping bytes of the first data word according to the data format of the first data word, and transmitting a second data message having the second data word via the computer networking protocol.
METHODS, DEVICES, AND SYSTEMS FOR DETERMINING A SUBSET FOR AUTONOMOUS SHARING OF DIGITAL MEDIA
Methods, systems, and devices for determining a subset of user devices (115, 120) from among a complete set of user devices (110, 115, 120) based on a set of received information, i.e., attributes (513, 516) associated with a photograph (514) or user device (110) that transmitted the photograph (514) and attributes (513, 516), where the disposition of the information may be used to determine the subset and then perform facial recognition (265) on the subset of user associated photographs in order to accurately identify each user or users present in the photograph (514).
NETWORK ARCHITECTURE FOR MULTIPLE DATA STREAM MANAGEMENT AND ENDPOINT VISUALIZATION
Network architecture with a plurality of data streams, wherein at least one of the data streams includes data updated in real-time; a plurality of protocol interfaces each connected to at least one of the data streams; a processor coupled with the protocol interfaces; an output interface coupled to a display for showing a graphical user interface; and a memory coupled to the processor including instructions that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to, multiplex a plurality of signals from the plurality of data streams via the protocol interfaces into a single output, wherein the multiplexing is executed based on an identity of the one of the data stream from which the signal originated, and output the single output to the graphical user interface via the output interface.
NORMALIZATION OF DATA ORIGINATING FROM ENDPOINTS WITHIN LOW POWER WIDE AREA NETWORKS (LPWANs)
The normalization of data originating from endpoints within low power wide area networks (LPWANs) is contemplated. The normalization may be beneficial to facilitate normalizing data when collected and/or communicated according to disparate protocols, languages, formats, syntaxes, structures, etc. of the endpoints and/or the LPWANs so as to enable commonization of the data prior to being interfaced with applications or other entities intending to make use thereof.
Methods, devices, and systems for determining a subset for autonomous sharing of digital media
Methods, systems, and devices for determining a subset of user devices from among a complete set of user devices based on a set of received information, i.e., attributes, associated with a photograph or user device that transmitted the photograph and attributes, where the disposition of the information may be used to determine the subset and then perform facial recognition check on the subset of user associated photographs in order to accurately identify each user or users present in the photograph.
IP hard disk and storage system, and data operation methods therefor
A data operation method for a storage system is applied to a storage system that includes an access node and at least two internet protocol (IP) hard disks, including sending, by the access node, a data migration instruction to a first IP hard disk, where the data migration instruction includes an identifier of a target virtual storage partition, the data migration instruction is used to instruct data in the target virtual storage partition to be migrated to a second IP hard disk; and receiving, by the first IP hard disk, the data migration instruction, reading the data in the target virtual storage partition according to the identifier of the target virtual storage partition, and writing the data in the target virtual storage partition into the second IP hard disk. The present system and method can be applied to migration of data in an IP hard disk.
METHOD OF TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING DATA IN VEHICLE NETWORK AND APPARATUS FOR THE SAME
An operation method of a first communication node in an Ethernet-based vehicle network includes: generating a data message including data when there is data to be transmitted to a second communication node belonging to the Ethernet-based vehicle network; and transmitting the data message to the second communication node. The data message further includes a first indicator indicating a type of the data and a second indicator indicating an encoding scheme applied to the data, such that a vehicle network even in an existing vehicle can support transmission and reception of information for the new IT service, and the performance of the vehicle network can be improved.
