DATA TRANSMISSION WITH COMMUNICATION BROKER
A method for transmitting data from a first sub-system to a second sub-system includes the steps of: providing a dataset by the first sub-system, the dataset having a data structure identifier and a data value; sending the dataset to the second sub-system; receiving the dataset by the second sub-system; checking whether complete assignment information regarding the data structure assigned to the data structure identifier is present in the second sub-system; recovering any missing assignment information from a communication broker in the event that the second sub-system does not contain complete assignment information; and determining the data structure on the basis of the data structure identifier and the assignment information. A corresponding system, a corresponding first sub-system, a corresponding second sub-system and a communication broker are also proposed.

Data Transmission Method and Device
This application provides a data transmission method, a communications apparatus, a network device, a communications system, a storage medium, and a computer program product, to resolve a current problem that bandwidth waste is relatively severe when a service is carried based on a FlexE technology. In this application, a frame structure of a fine-granularity service frame is newly defined, so that service data can be transmitted in a time division multiplexing mode by using an Ethernet (ETH) interface.
FRAME STRUCTURE INDICATION METHOD, FRAME STRUCTURE UPDATING METHOD, AND RELATED DEVICE
A method for indicating a frame structure, a method for updating a frame structure, and related devices are provided. The method for indicating a frame structure, performed by a first device, includes: determining a first frame structure based on user data to be transmitted; and when the first frame structure is different from a second frame structure corresponding to a second device, sending indication information, where the indication information is used to indicate the first frame structure.
Normalization of data originating from endpoints within low power wide area networks (LPWANs)
The normalization of data originating from endpoints within low power wide area networks (LPWANs) is contemplated. The normalization may be beneficial to facilitate normalizing data when collected and/or communicated according to disparate protocols, languages, formats, syntaxes, structures, etc. of the endpoints and/or the LPWANs so as to enable commonization of the data prior to being interfaced with applications or other entities intending to make use thereof.

DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND APPARATUS IN OPTICAL TRANSPORT NETWORK
A data transmission method in an optical transport network includes: mapping first-type service data to a payload block at a specific location in a plurality of consecutive payload blocks, where the plurality of consecutive payload blocks occupy a payload area of an optical data unit (ODU) frame; mapping second-type service data to a payload block at any location in the plurality of consecutive payload blocks other than the at least one specific location; mapping the ODU frame to an optical transport unit (OTU) frame or a flexible OTN (FlexO) frame; and sending the OTU frame or the FlexO frame. In an applicable scenario, service data is transmitted in a hybrid manner.
Geolocation via internet protocol
Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for extracting information associated with one networking transmission protocol, such as Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), based on information associated with a different networking transmission protocol, such as Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv4). More specifically, when resolving an IP address for a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) through which a content file may be obtained, the system may base the resolved URL on attributes of an IPv4 address extracted from an IPv6 address for a machine associated with the request. In one particular example, a geographic location of a requested computing device or machine may be determined or estimated based on an IPv4 address extracted from an IPv6 address associated with the request.
Hybrid tag matching
A method for communication includes posting, by a software process, a set of buffers in a memory of a host processor and creating in the memory a list of labels associated respectively with the buffers. The software process pushes a first part of the list to a network interface controller (NIC), while retaining a second part of the list in the memory under control of the software process. Upon receiving a message containing a label, sent over a network, the NIC compares the label to the labels in the first part of the list and, upon finding a match to the label, writes data conveyed by the message to a buffer in the memory. Upon a failure to find the match in the first part of the list, the NIC passes the message from the NIC to the software process for handling using the second part of the list.
Network traffic marking and measurement methods and node
Embodiments of this application provide network traffic marking and measurement methods and a node, and relate to the field of communications technologies, and specifically, to network traffic measurement and network traffic distribution. The network traffic measurement method includes: receiving, by a second node, a data packet sent by another node in a network, where the data packet is periodically marked by the another node, and each node has a different period of marking a data packet. According to the application, the second node may distinguish, based on the period of marking the data packet, traffic sent by the another node in the network, to obtain network traffic sent by the another node in the network to the second node. Upon implementing the traffic measurement method, data plane overheads can be reduced, and a hardware implementation process is simplified.
