A method of processing data in a network is disclosed. The method comprises transmitting, from a first server to a second server, first information characterising a first predefined format according to which first data is stored at a first data store; obtaining, at the second server, mapping information characterising a mapping of the first predefined format onto a second predefined format different to the first predefined format; generating, at the second server, based on the first information and the mapping information, second information for converting data in the first predefined format into data in the second predefined format; transmitting, from the second server to the first server, the second information; and parsing, at the first server, using the second information, the first data stored at the first data store, to generate data in the second predefined format. Apparatuses are also disclosed.

In an aspect of the disclosure, a communication method of a controller is disclosed. One form of a method may include: transmitting a diagnostic information request and attribute information of a diagnostic device to an Ethernet ECU; in response to the diagnostic information request, determining a protocol type of the diagnostic device based on the attribute information; controlling the Ethernet ECU to perform protocol conversion according to the determination result; and receiving a diagnostic message from the Ethernet ECU in response to the diagnostic information request by diagnostic device.

One form of a method may include: transmitting a diagnostic information request and attribute information of a diagnostic device to an Ethernet ECU; in response to the diagnostic information request, determining a protocol type of the diagnostic device based on the attribute information; controlling the Ethernet ECU to perform protocol conversion according to the determination result; and receiving a diagnostic message from the Ethernet ECU in response to the diagnostic information request by diagnostic device.
Method and system for remote vehicle diagnostics
A method and system for remote vehicle diagnostics are provided. The method is applicable to a remote vehicle diagnostic system including a vehicle diagnostic terminal and a vehicle connector. A remote communication connection between the vehicle diagnostic terminal and the vehicle connector is established via a preset programming interface. The vehicle diagnostic terminal receives diagnostic instruction data of a diagnostic application. The vehicle diagnostic terminal transmits the diagnostic instruction data to the vehicle connector via the preset programming interface by way of the remote communication. The vehicle connector converts the diagnostic instruction data into first data in a first data format, and performs a diagnostic operation corresponding to the first data, where the first data format is readable by a vehicle.
Method and system for remote vehicle diagnostics
A method and system for remote vehicle diagnostics are provided. The method is applicable to a remote vehicle diagnostic system including a vehicle diagnostic terminal and a vehicle connector. A remote communication connection between the vehicle diagnostic terminal and the vehicle connector is established via a preset programming interface. The vehicle diagnostic terminal receives diagnostic instruction data of a diagnostic application. The vehicle diagnostic terminal transmits the diagnostic instruction data to the vehicle connector via the preset programming interface by way of the remote communication. The vehicle connector converts the diagnostic instruction data into first data in a first data format, and performs a diagnostic operation corresponding to the first data, where the first data format is readable by a vehicle.

According to one embodiment, a communication system includes a controller and a plurality of devices serially connected to the controller by a communication path. Each device has a different identifying address from each other device. The communication path connects the controller to the plurality of devices in a loop. The communication path is configured to transmit a communication frame as a differential serial signal. The communication frame includes a plurality of packets. Each packet in the plurality of packets has a fixed data length. Each device is configured to insert data into, and extract data from, a packet in the communication frame.

A materials handling vehicle comprises a distributed processor system including a vehicle network that facilitates an exchange of information with vehicle electronic components, and a distributed multi-processor vehicle control architecture. The distributed multi-processor vehicle control architecture includes an embedded information core having a core processor communicably coupled to the vehicle network, and a tablet having a tablet processor, where the tablet is communicably couplable to, and detachable from the distributed multi-processor vehicle control architecture. When the tablet is detached from the distributed multi-processor vehicle control architecture, the core processor functions as a primary processor that communicates with vehicle electronic components by communicating therewith across the vehicle network. When the tablet is communicably attached to the distributed multi-processor vehicle control architecture, the tablet processor functions as the primary processor, and the core processor functions as a subordinate processor.

A control apparatus for a gateway functioning as the endpoint of a core network in a mobile communication system is provided. The gateway includes a first server configured to receive data from a user apparatus and one or more second servers configured to transfer the data received by the first server to an external network. The control apparatus performs an operation of changing performance of the one or more second servers, an operation of monitoring a processing status of the one or more second servers, and an operation of selecting, from the one or more second servers in accordance with the processing status of the one or more second servers, a second server as a transfer destination of the data received from the user apparatus by the first server.
