Xx/Xn protocol programmability
A method for Xx/Xn interface communication is disclosed, comprising: at an Xx/Xn gateway for communicating with, and coupled to, a first and a second radio access network (RAN), receiving messages from the first RAN according to a first Xx/Xn protocol and mapping the received messages to a second Xx/Xn protocol for transmission to the second RAN; maintaining state of one of the first RAN or the second RAN at the Xx/Xn gateway; executing executable code received at an interpreter at the Xx/Xn gateway as part of the received messages; altering the maintained state based on the executed executable code; and receiving and decoding an initial Xx/Xn message from the first RAN; identifying specific strings in the initial Xx/Xn message; matching the identified specific strings in a database of stored scripts; and performing a transformation on the initial Xx/Xn message, the transformation being retrieved from the database for stored scripts, the stored scripts being transformations.
Electronic device and method for scheduling of communication data link thereof
Disclosed is an electronic device including a communication module configured to support a first communication protocol and a second communication protocol, a processor operably connected to the communication module, and a memory storing instructions that enable the processor to establish a first connection based on the first communication protocol with a first external electronic device, identify a second external electronic device and a connection state of the second external electronic device using the second communication protocol, produce a first message, based at least in part on the first connection and the connection state of the second external electronic device, transmit the produced first message to the second external electronic device using the second communication protocol, receive, from the second external electronic device, a second message in response to the first message using the second communication protocol, and schedule a data link based on the second communication protocol.

Wireless Network for Horticultural Systems
Systems and methods disclosed herein include a wireless horticultural system, which includes a computer, an adapter configured to receive an input from the computer, in which the input is formatted in a first native communications protocol of the computer, convert the input from the first native communications protocol into a first wireless signal, and transmit the first wireless signal to one or more controllers. The system further includes the one or more controllers, in which a first controller in the one or more controllers is connected to the adapter and configured to receive the first wireless signal from the adapter, and provide the input encoded in the first wireless signal to a device connected to the first controller.
Multi-level video processing within a vehicular communication network
A system for controlling power distribution within a vehicular communication network, including a power source equipment comprising a first port in communication with a network node module of a device, and a Power over Ethernet (POE) management module. The POE management module is configured to enable POE to the device via the first port, monitor a current draw of the device, determine whether the current draw of the device exceeds a threshold, and disable POE to the device, responsive to determining that the current draw exceeds the threshold.

System and Method for Implementing Automobile Electronic Control Function, and Automobile
A system, automobile, and method for implementing an electronic control function of an automobile. The system includes a first vehicle integration unit (VIU), an automobile control unit, and a plurality of automobile parts. The automobile control unit includes a first domain controller (DC) or a central computing platform (CCP). The automobile control unit is configured to send first control information to the first VIU. The first VIU is configured to control the plurality of automobile parts based on the first control information. In embodiments of this application, the first VIU controls the plurality of automobile parts.
Adapter for providing unified transaction interface
Embodiments of the invention are directed to enabling access transaction systems to accept different communication protocols. In some embodiment, an access device receives, from a portable device, an indication that a transaction is to be performed by exchanging transaction information between the portable device and a remote computer, wherein the remote computer is configured to communicate using a first communication protocol. Next, the access device determines that the portable device is configured to communicate using a second communication protocol. The access device then converts communications between the portable device and the remote computer from the second communication protocol to the first communication protocol to assist the portable device and the remote computer in exchanging the transaction information.

System and method for secure access to camera systems
Embodiments include a system, method, and computer program product that enable secure access to cameras in smart buildings. Some embodiments control outbound video from an environment such as a local network through an intelligent on-event video pushing mechanism. The local intelligent on-event video pushing mechanism hides the IP address of a source video camera, transcodes the video to a reduced size for wide area distribution, and pushes video to a recipient upon an event triggered received within the local environment (e.g., the local network.) Embodiments enable a remote video client on the far-side of the local network firewall to view the video streams of cameras on the near-side of the local network firewall when an event or trigger occurs.
