Semiconductor device in 3D stack with communication interface and managing method thereof
A semiconductor device with an interface includes a master device and a plurality of slave devices. The master device includes a master interface. The slave devices are stacked on the master device one after one as a three-dimension (3D) stack. Each of the slave devices includes a slave interface and a managing circuit, the master interface and the slave interfaces form the interface for passing signals in communication between the master device and the slave devices. The managing circuit of a current one of the slave devices drives a next one of the slave devices. An operation command received at the current one of the slave devices is just passed to the next one of the slave devices through the interface. A response from the current one of the slave devices is passed back to the master device through the interface.
DYNAMIC NETWORK INTERFACE CARD FABRIC
A system comprises an edge services controller configured to: compute, based on a physical topology of physical links that connect a plurality of network interface cards (NICs) that comprise embedded switches and processing units coupled to the embedded switches, a virtual topology comprising a strict subset of the physical links; and program the virtual topology into the respective processing units of the NICs to cause the processing units of the NICs to send data packets via physical links in the strict subset of the physical links.
System and method for interleaved media communication and conversion
A method or system configured for receiving a first single data stream representing a first multimedia file, the first single data stream including an interleaved sequence of data elements of a plurality of media, and/or transmitting a second single data stream representing a second multimedia file, the second single data stream including an interleaved sequence of data elements of said plurality of media, where the second multimedia file differs from said first multimedia file by at least one data element of a selected medium extracted from said first multimedia file, and/or by at least one data element of a selected medium added to the first multimedia file, and/or by at least one data element of a selected medium added to the first multimedia file being a converted version of the at least one data element of a selected medium extracted from the first multimedia file.

Healthcare interoperability environment system
The invention concerns an Interoperability Environment comprising: a core software engine comprising means to collect and transfer electronic data from any number of sources including medical devices, clinical information systems, hospital information systems, a means to apply rules to improve compliance with hospital approved protocols, standards and guidances, a means to update all subsystems using any given parameter when the parameter is updated in the official recognized source of truth for that parameter, a means to populate the CIS with all required patient information, while at the same time maintaining all quality and process control data in a format supporting advanced analytics separate from the CIS data, a means to communicate notifications to any number of remote electronic devices without limitation of platform and comprising a hardware eco system comprising means to collect, translate, store and send electronic data to the core software engine for any electronic source via communication methods including but not limited to LAN, Serial, Wi Fi, Wireless, etc.
MA PDU HANDLING OF INTERWORKING FROM 5G TO 2G/3G
A method of handling interworking from 5G system (5GS) to 2/3G for an PDU session with a 3GPP EPS PDN leg is proposed. Upon intersystem change from S1 mode to A/Gb mode or Iu mode, for a PDN connection which was established as a user plane resource of an MA PDU session: if the SM activates a PDP context using parameters from the default EPS bearer context of the PDN connection, then the SMF can initiate a network-requested PDU session release procedure over non-3GPP access or perform a local release of the MA PDU session; the UE can perform a local release of the MA PDU session. Otherwise, the SMF can initiate a network-requested PDU session modification procedure over 5G non-3GPP access to move traffic of the MA PDU session to 5G non-3GPP access, or initiate a network-requested PDU session release procedure over non-3GPP access.

Methods and nodes for facilitating a PDU session procedure in interworking networks
A method at an Access and mobility Management Function (AMF) for facilitating a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session procedure for a User Equipment (UE) in a 5th Generation System (5GS) network, wherein the 5GS network is interworking with an Evolved Packet System (EPS) network, and a Packet Data Network Gateway Control plane Function+Session Management Function (PGW-C+SMF) supporting the interworking is selected for managing the PDU session. The method comprises determining whether the PDU session supports interworking with the EPS network, based on at least one of a capability of the UE and a subscription data of the UE; and sending an indication which indicates whether the PDU session supports interworking with the EPS network to the PGW-C+SMF.

DECENTRALIZED DATA CENTERS
Example methods and systems are directed to a decentralized computing arrangement including a management system connected to a wide area network. The management system has a publish/subscribe messaging platform and a platform manager to provide an application for installation on edge devices. Each edge device has a wide area network interface to connect to the wide area network thereby to receive configuration data from the management system to install the application on the edge device. The edge device further includes a messaging interface to receive messages from the publish/subscribe messaging platform. The messages control installation of the application and allow communications between the edge device and the management system based on topics.
