FRAME COMPATIBILITY ACROSS NETWORK PROTOCOL VERSION
One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for processing packets transmitted within a network in accordance with a network protocol. The technique includes a network device in a mesh network receiving a type-length-value (TLV) element, determining, based on a type field of the TLV element, an expected length of a value field of the TLV element, and processing the value field up to the expected length.

Interface for Data Communication Between Chiplets or other Integrated Circuits on an Interposer
A representative system, apparatus, method and protocol are disclosed for data communication between chiplets or SOCs on a common interposer. A representative system comprises: an interposer; a first integrated circuit arranged on the interposer, the first integrated circuit comprising a first common protocol interface circuit; a communication link coupled to the first common protocol interface circuit; and a second integrated circuit arranged on the interposer, the second integrated circuit comprising a second common protocol interface circuit coupled to the communication link to form a serial protocol interface between the first common protocol interface circuit and the second common protocol interface circuit. Serial data and control packets and parallel data and control packets having specified, ordered fields are also disclosed.

TECHNOLOGIES FOR SECURELY PROVIDING REMOTE ACCELERATORS HOSTED ON THE EDGE TO CLIENT COMPUTE DEVICES
Technologies for securely providing one or more remote accelerators hosted on edge resources to a client compute device includes a device that further includes an accelerator and one or more processors. The one or more processors are to determine whether to enable acceleration of an encrypted workload, receive, via an edge network, encrypted data from a client compute device, and transfer the encrypted data to the accelerator without exposing content of the encrypted data to the one or more processors. The accelerator is to receive, in response to a determination to enable the acceleration of the encrypted workload, an accelerator key from a secure server via a secured channel, and process, in response to a transfer of the encrypted data from the one or more processors, the encrypted data using the accelerator key.
Universal wireless remote control for welding apparatus in harsh environments
A system and method for wirelessly controlling, monitoring, and updating various welding parameters from a remote device using a single remote control. The remote does not need to have the software to communicate with the welding-type system prior to initiating communications with the welding-type system. Rather, the welding-type system can provide a code download to the remote to perform an over-the-air programming of the remote to configure the remote to control the welding-type system.

Methods and systems for fast upgrade or reboot for network device
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to protocol state transition and/or resource state transition tracker configured to monitor, e.g., via filters, for certain protocol state transitions/changes or host hardware resource transitions/changes when a host processor in the control plane that performs such monitoring functions is unavailable or overloaded. The filters, in some embodiments, are pre-computed/computed by the host processor and transmitted to the protocol state transition and/or resource state transition tracker. The protocol state transition and/or resource state transition tracker may be used to implement a fast upgrade operation as well as load sharing and or load balancing operation with control plane associated components.

TCP packet processing method, toe component, and network device
A TOE component obtains a first storage address, where the first storage address is an address of a first storage block in a memory, the first storage block stores a target TCP packet, and the target TCP packet includes a packet header and a TCP payload. The TOE component obtains the packet header from the first storage block based on the first storage address. The TOE component performs TCP-related protocol processing based on the packet header, where the TCP payload is not read out of the first storage block by the TOE component when the TOE component performs TCP-related protocol processing based on the packet header.
