Virtualized cell architecture
A method for combining two radio access network (RAN) cells into a virtual cell is disclosed, comprising: at a coordinating node, assigning a virtual cell identifier for a virtual cell, assigning a plurality of base stations to the virtual cell, and scheduling resources for a user equipment (UE) at each base station in the virtual cell; and at a base station of the plurality of base stations, constructing a signal containing two cell identifiers, the two cell identifiers being the virtual cell identifier and a physical cell identifier of the base station, and sending the signal to the UE, thereby improving performance for the UE at a cell edge of the first base station and of the second base station.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
A communication system includes: a management server that receives, from an information terminal connectable to a first network, a connection request for connecting to a web service provided by a web server connectable to a second network; first communication control circuitry that controls communication of a communication apparatus connectable to the second network, and second communication control circuitry that controls communication of the information terminal. The first communication control circuitry connects to a relay server that relays communication between the second network and the first network. The second communication control circuitry connects the information terminal to the relay server. A request for the web service provided by the web server and a response to the request are transmitted and received between a web browser of the information terminal and the web server via the relay server and the first communication control circuitry.
Method for improved audio intelligibility in a converged communication system
A method and device for improved audio intelligibility in a converged land mobile radio (LMR)/broadband (BB) communications system is provided. A converged portable radio operating as part of a talkgroup in the LMR/BB system checks for predetermined triggers during standby that could cause receive radios of the talkgroup to receive degraded audio. If such a trigger is detected then the converged portable radio switches from the LMR system to the BB system and transmits a notification including a change system message to the other converged portable radios of the talkgroup. The notification is transmitted prior to any push-to-talk audio being transmitted from the originating radio. The converged portable radio can transmit, via a push-to-talk switch, narrowband (NB) audio and wideband (WB) audio in parallel over the BB system to the talkgroup subsequent to the detection of triggers and the sending of the notification.
FAST FILE SERVER METHODS AND SYSTEMS
The invention provides, in one aspect, an improved system for data access comprising a file server that is coupled to a client device or application executing thereon via one or more networks. The server comprises static storage that is organized in one or more directories, each containing, zero, one or more files. The server also comprises a file system operable, in cooperation with a file system on the client device, to provide authorized applications executing on the client device access to those directories and/or files. Fast file server (FFS) software or other functionality executing on or in connection with the server responds to requests received from the client by transferring requested data to the client device over multiple network pathways. That data can comprise, for example, directory trees, files (or portions thereof), and so forth.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SEAMLESS RESET FOR SEAMLESS REDUNDANCY OF TSN/DETNET
Systems and methods are disclosed herein for seamless reset for seamless redundancy. In one embodiment, a method performed by a transmit node comprises determining that a sequence generation function at the transmit node has been reset and, responsive thereto, transmitting first packets in a stream via at least two disjoint paths, wherein: (a) each of the first packets comprises a respective sequence number from a linear sequence number space and (b) at least a first packet from the first packets comprises an explicit indicator of the reset. The method further comprises determining that an end of the linear sequence number space has been reached or that use of the linear sequence number space has been disabled and, responsive thereto, transmitting second packets in the stream via at least two disjoint paths, wherein (a) each of the second packets comprises a respective sequence number of a cyclic sequence number space.
CHANNEL SWITCHING METHOD, APPARATUS, DEVICE, AND READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure provides a channel switching method, an apparatus, a device, and a readable storage medium, relating to the field of communications. Said method comprises: generating a multi-connection channel switching frame under one connection, so as to provide indications for performing channel switching under multiple connections. By configuring the multi-connection channel switching frame, a channel switching mechanism under multiple connections is defined, avoiding sending a channel switching frame under each of the multiple connections, simplifying the transmission of signaling and improving the effective utilization rate of a frequency spectrum.
PATH SELECTION OR PATH SWITCHING AND CHARGING FOR PROXIMITY SERVICE COMMUNICATION
A 5G network may support path switch mechanisms from a direct path to an indirect path to the network, and vice versa. Methods and systems are disclosed for performing the path switching process.
MULTIPATH TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DEVICE
This application provides a router. The router includes a processor and a transceiver. The transceiver is configured to receive collaboration information that is sent by a mobile terminal and used for collaboratively establishing a plurality of data transmission channels. The processor is configured to: run a multipath transmission protocol; identify, based on the multipath transmission protocol, the collaboration information received by the transceiver; and send matching information to the mobile terminal. The transceiver is configured to receive and identify matching acknowledgment information sent by the mobile terminal. The processor is configured to establish the plurality of data transmission channels to the mobile terminal based on the successfully identified matching acknowledgment information. The transceiver is configured to receive data sent by the mobile terminal through the plurality of data transmission channels. The processor is configured to remove redundancy from or aggregate the data to obtain single data.
Cryptographic Micro-Segmentation Using IKEv2
A method of establishing one or more secure channels between network devices comprises exchanging a base key pair between a first network device and a second network device, and for each of a plurality of policies, providing a nonce corresponding to that policy to the first and second devices. The method further comprises generating, for each of the plurality of policies, a session key that is a function of the base key pair and the policy nonce. The method comprises determining, at the first device, that a data packet matches a rule associated with a policy, encrypting the data with a session key that corresponds to the policy to produce an encrypted packet, and conveying the encrypted packet to the second device. At the second device, determining that the encrypted packet matches the rule associated with the policy, and decrypting the encrypted packet with the session key.
