Communication system, memory device, and communication method
According to one embodiment, a communication system includes a controller and a plurality of devices serially connected to the controller by a communication path. Each device has a different identifying address from each other device. The communication path connects the controller to the plurality of devices in a loop. The communication path is configured to transmit a communication frame as a differential serial signal. The communication frame includes a plurality of packets. Each packet in the plurality of packets has a fixed data length. Each device is configured to insert data into, and extract data from, a packet in the communication frame.

Introspection into workloads running within virtual machines
Introspection into containers running in virtual machines (VMs) that are instantiated on a host computer is achieved. A method of processing an introspection command for a container, funning in a virtual machine, is carried out by a VM management process, and includes the steps of receiving a first request that is formulated according to a first protocol, e.g., transmission control protocol, and includes the introspection command, identifying the virtual machine from the first request, formulating a second request that includes the introspection command, according to a second protocol (e.g., virtual socket protocol), and transmitting the second request to a container management process running in the virtual machine for the container management process to execute the introspection command.

NON-ACCESS STRATUM SIGNALING OVER A NON-3GPP NETWORK
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a cellular modem may transmit, to an applications processor, an indication to use a non-Third Generation Partnership Project (non-3GPP) interworking function (N3IWF) for non-access stratum (NAS) signaling. Accordingly, the cellular modem may establish a first virtual interface with the applications processor. The cellular modem may further perform an Internet Key Exchange (IKE) procedure with a core network using the first virtual interface and the N3IWF and transmit a key generated during the IKE procedure to the applications processor. Numerous other aspects are described.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SERVICE STATE REPLICATION USING ORIGINAL DATA PACKETS
Network traffic flows can be processed by routers, switches, or service nodes. Service nodes may be ASICs that can provide the functionality of a switch or a router. Service nodes can be configured in a circular replication chain, thereby providing benefits such as high reliability. The service nodes can implement methods that include receiving a first packet that includes a source address in a source address field and that includes a destination address in a destination address field, routing the first packet to a selected service node that is in a circular replication chain that includes a plurality of service nodes that have local flow tables and are configured for chain replication of the local flow tables, producing a second packet by using a matching flow table entry of the first packet to process the first packet, and sending the second packet toward a destination indicated by the destination address.
Virtualized remote direct memory access
Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device that can be configured to receive a remote direct memory access (RDMA) message from a first virtual machine located on a first network element, determine that the RDMA message is destined for a second virtual machine that is located on the first network element, and use a local direct memory access engine to process the RDMA message, where the local direct memory access engine is located on the first network element. In an example, the electronic device can be further configured to determine that the RDMA message is destined for a third virtual machine on a second network element, wherein the second network element is different than the first network element and use an other device acceleration driver to process the RDMA message instead of the local direct memory access engine.
Data processing method and apparatus, and computer
A method includes extracting packet information of a data packet to be transmitted through a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) connection. If the packet information does not match information in a first data flow table, a first compliance detection is performed on the data packet. A state machine of the TCP connection is obtained if the first compliance detection is successful. The method also includes recording the packet information in the first data flow table, recording a connection status of the TCP connection in a first connection tracking table, and sending the data packet to a receiving end of the TCP connection. If the packet information matches the information in the first data flow table, a second compliance detection is performed on the data packet and, if the second compliance detection fails, the connection status of the TCP connection is adjusted and the data packet is discarded.
