INTERWORKING SERVICE FOR THE RESTFUL INTERNET OF THINGS
An interworking service entity receives server registration requests including indications of service layer protocols used by each server, maintains a repository of server information, and uses the repository for interworking requests of devices to servers of different protocols based on a server type provided in discovery requests. Other matching information may include, for example, server security protocol, supported services, service territory, availability, capacity, or loading, as device information or preferences, such a supported service, supported interface type, or a supported device type.
Data Transmission Method and Electronic Device
A first device selects a first transmission manner to send data to a second device. If it is determined that both the second device and the first device support a second transmission manner, the first transmission manner is switched to the second transmission manner, and the data is sent to the second device in the second transmission manner.
COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS FOR SECURE DIGITAL (SD) CARDS
In some examples, a system comprises: a socket; a controller coupled to the socket; a storage device comprising machine-readable instructions; and a processor coupled to the controller and the storage device, wherein execution of the machine-readable instructions causes the processor to: detect a Secure Digital (SD) card in the socket via the controller; prompt a user to select a communication protocol to be utilized by the system to communicate with the SD card; and enable the system to communicate with the SD card based on the user selection.
System for employing cellular telephone networks to operate, control and communicate with unmannded aerial vehicles and remote piloted vehicles
A cellular type communications system for cellular telephone networks to operate, control and communicate with unmanned aerial vehicles and remote piloted vehicles, the system including a first near-ground region to communicate with devices near the ground, as well as one or more layers covering roughly the same areal extent as the ground region but which are separated from each other and also elevated above ground substantially, and within which an aerial vehicle may rely on communications using the cell-based communications network.
Technique for enabling signaling message correlation
A technique for enabling signaling message correlation in a telecommunication network is disclosed. A method implementation of the technique is performed by a network node in the telecommunication network and includes receiving a first signaling message as part of a signaling procedure among a plurality of network nodes in the telecommunication network, the first signaling message being transmitted using a first signaling protocol and including a correlation identifier being propagated along a message flow of the signaling procedure, and triggering transmitting a second signaling message as part of the signaling procedure using a second signaling protocol different from the first signaling protocol, wherein the correlation identifier of the first signaling message is incorporated into the second signaling message for further propagation.
Method and system for surveillance system management
Exemplary surveillance system is provided having a plurality of data generating devices, and nodes for data handling of the data streams generated from the data generating devices. The system may be configured to fragment the data streams and store the fragments among the plurality of nodes of the system. The system may be configured to redundantly transmit data through the nodes so the fragmented data stream arrive at the desired location for storage. The data transmission may permit redirection or retransmission based on node or data transmission failure.
Multi-path user datagram protocol
The field of the disclosure is the transfer of digital data, particularly multimedia data, from a source to a user of that data using multiple data carrying paths/links/channels.

Serial command protocol encapsulating wire transfer protocol
An embodiment provides a method for transferring information utilizing a serial communication command structure over an unreliable or a non-continuous communication channel, including: establishing a serial command structure, wherein the establishing comprises defining a package structure having a predefined format, wherein the serial command structure comprises bounded data; and transmitting, over the unreliable or the non-continuous communication channel, data from a sending entity to a receiving entity utilizing the serial command structure and in the predefined format. Other aspects are described and claimed.
