PACKET FORWARDING METHOD AND APPARATUS, DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
This application discloses a packet forwarding method and apparatus, a device, and a storage medium. The method includes: obtaining packet configuration information, where the packet configuration information includes a packet parsing rule; parsing a received target packet based on the packet configuration information to obtain a target packet feature; obtaining a packet forwarding rule corresponding to the target packet based on the target packet feature; and forwarding the target packet according to the packet forwarding rule corresponding to the target packet. Because packet features of different service data are different, the different service data is distinguished based on the different packet features, and is forwarded according to different forwarding rules. This implements forwarding control of the different service data, improves service data forwarding efficiency and adjustment precision, and avoids low service data transmission efficiency and incapability of splitting the different service data.

COALESCING INTERRUPTS BASED ON FRAGMENT INFORMATION IN PACKETS AND A NETWORK CONTROLLER FOR COALESCING
A packet is transmitted from a remote device over a communication network. A fragment detector detects one or more fragments in a field of the packet, where the field is associated with a session layer or higher abstraction layer of an open systems interconnect (OSI) model. Fragment information is extracted from the packet which indicates one or more of a last fragment index associated with a last fragment of one or more fragment in the packet and a fragment count indicative of a number of fragments associated with a message which is fragmented. Interrupts associated with the packet with other interrupts associated with other packets are coalesced based on one or more of the last fragment index and the fragment count.

IDENTIFIER RESOLUTION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THE INTERNET OF THINGS
Provided are an identifier resolution method and apparatus for the Internet of Things, In the method, different identifier resolution systems are compatible through constructing an identifier resolution architecture for the Internet of Things, and a unified method is used for resolving various identifiers. Therefore, it is simply required to maintain one identifier resolution architecture for the Internet of Things when resolving different identifiers, which reduces the workload and difficulty for maintenance of the identifier resolution system and thus reduces the workload and difficulty for maintenance of the Internet of Things.

TRAFFIC PRIORITIZATION IN SD-WAN
Some embodiments provide a method, for a software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) that handles (i) traffic for a 5G network and (ii) traffic outside of the 5G network. The SD-WAN is established by a set of edge nodes and a set of gateways. At a particular edge node of the SD-WAN, the method identifies whether a received data message is a 5G message that includes a tunnel header of a particular type associated with the 5G network. When the data message is a 5G message, the method examines a set of header fields within the tunnel header to identify a specified traffic priority applicable to the 5G message. The method applies the identified traffic priority within the SD-WAN.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONSTRUCTING SERVICE-AWARE VIRTUAL TOPOLOGIES IN WIDE AREA NETWORKS
A method for servicing network traffic in a wide area network (WAN) comprising a plurality of network devices is provided. The method is executed by a network device among the plurality of network devices and comprises: receiving a request to transmit the network traffic to a destination network device where the request specifies that the network traffic is to be serviced by a network service; determining, based on the request and using a service-aware virtual topology (SAVT) routing table, a path through the WAN for reaching the network service and a service instance identifier (ID) of the network service; configuring the network traffic to include a service bit indicating whether service is to be performed and instructions specifying the path for reaching the network service; and transmitting, after configuring the network traffic, the network traffic toward the destination device through the at least one network service.
