Methods and systems for UE to request appropriate NSSAI in 5G
Methods and systems for exposing the network slice selection process to the entities within or attached to a client device are provided. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a method for allowing slice consumers within or attached to the client device to access and use Network Slice Selection Assistance Information (NSSAI) comprises, at a client device: receiving, at an Application Programming Interface (API) layer within the client device, a query for NSSAI, the query being sent by a slice consumer; sending, to a Fifth Generation modem within the client device, the query for NSSAI; receiving, from the 5G modem, a response to the query for NSSAI; and sending, to the slice consumer, the response to the query for NSSAI. Enhancements to the N1 interface as well to Core Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), Application Function (AF), and Network Exposure Function (NEF) are presented.
Medium access control security
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit to a base station (BS), information indicating a medium access control (MAC) security capability of the UE. The UE may receive from the BS, a communication that includes an indication of a MAC security configuration for communications between the UE and the BS. The indication of the MAC security configuration may be based at least in part on the MAC security capability of the UE. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Method, apparatus, electronic device and storage medium for broadcasting voice
A method, an apparatus, an electronic device and a storage medium for broadcasting a voice are provided. The method may include: sending a voice broadcast request to a server, where the voice broadcast request includes at least one of scenario information, user information or voice packet setting information; receiving a voice broadcast instruction corresponding to the voice broadcast request returned by the server; and acquiring a personalized voice packet corresponding to the voice broadcast instruction in a local database and broadcasting the personalized voice packet.
Enhancements for real-time text (RTT) call control over an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) network
A first UE receives a first Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) INVITE message requesting the first UE to place the RTT call on hold, during an ongoing Real-Time Text (RTT) call with a second UE. In response to the first SIP INVITE message, the first UE sends a first SIP 200 OK message to the second UE, and the first SIP 200 OK message indicates that the first UE is not allowed to send and receive media data. After sending the first SIP 200 OK message, the first UE receives a second SIP INVITE message requesting the first UE to resume the RTT call. In response to the second SIP INVITE message, the first UE sends a third SIP INVITE message to the second UE, and the third SIP INVITE message indicates that the first UE is allowed to send and receive media data.
AUDIO DATA RECEPTION METHOD USING SHORT-RANGE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
According to the present disclosure, the method for receiving the audio data by the first device, comprises: transmitting, to a third device, a notification message requesting a change of a configuration related to audio data streaming of the first device, wherein the notification message includes configuration change information for changing the configuration related to the audio data streaming; performing, with the third device, a configuration change procedure for changing the configuration related to the audio data streaming, on the basis of the notification message; and receiving, from the third device, audio data related to the audio data streaming, on the basis of the changed configuration related to the audio data streaming, wherein the configuration change procedure is initiated on the basis of the notification message, and the configuration related to the audio data streaming is changed on the basis of the configuration change information.
POWER SAVING TECHNIQUES FOR LAYER-TO-LAYER INTERFACE
A method includes: receiving, at a first layer of a protocol stack, multiple code blocks from a base station, the multiple code blocks is a portion of a transport block and is associated with an error rate; transmitting, to a second layer of the protocol stack, the multiple code blocks; and determining, at the second layer and based on the error rate, whether to (1) store the multiple code blocks in memory or (2) process the multiple code blocks. A method for saving power in a physical (PHY) layer-to-medium access (MAC) layer interface and a network device, and a system are also provided.

PROVIDING MEDIA CONTENT TO CONTENT CONSUMERS FOR PLAYBACK AND CONSUMPTION
A system is provided that includes a plurality of nodes and a plurality of instances of a distributed media rights transaction ledger associated with the plurality of the nodes. The plurality of nodes includes a first node associated with a first participant and a second node associated with a second participant. The first node interacts with the second node based on a defined protocol in a communication network. The first node receives a request for playback of a media content from a content consumer associated with a consumer device. The second node provides media content rights associated with media content to at least one of the first participant or the content consumer. Each instance of the distributed media rights transaction ledger includes a plurality of media content rights transactions corresponding to at least an acquisition of the media content rights by the first participant or the content consumer.
