WIRELESS TERMINAL
The present invention provides a communication method in a wireless communication network in which a first wireless terminal establishes a peer-to-peer wireless connection with a second wireless terminal. The first terminal determines whether or not the second wireless terminal is a universal terminal on the basis of information received from the second wireless terminal. The first wireless terminal controls access to a resource in the first wireless terminal by the second wireless terminal after a connection is established in accordance with the result of the determination.
ENABLING SESSION-BASED PERMISSION SETS
A computer implemented method for activating assignments of permission sets may include enabling, by a server computing system, assignment of one or more permission sets to a user, wherein access to a computing resource associated with the one or more permission sets is blocked until the assignment of the one or more permission sets is activated; detecting, by the server computing system, a start of a first user session associated with the user; and activating, by the server computing system, the assignment of the one or more permission sets based on the detecting of the start of the first user session and based on one or more of the user and the first user session satisfying one or more qualification requirements.
Network-terminal interoperation using compatible payloads
An anchoring network device of a telecommunications network can receive a first initiation request of a communication session and determine a second request indicating a different media capability than the first request. The different capabilities can share a payload format. A network gateway can modify headers of packets to change between the capabilities. In some examples, the anchoring device can determine that a codec list of the initiation request corresponds to a rewrite rule. The device can apply the rewrite rule to the request to provide a second request listing a second, different codec. The first codec and the second codec can both be associated with a common payload format. The network gateway can modify first packets from a first to a second terminal to replace first-codec headers with second-codec headers and vice-versa.
Systems and methods for personalizing and/or tailoring a service interface
Systems and methods for enabling proximity services to be delivered as part of an application service and/or for providing tailored services and/or a differential quality of service (QoS) to a flow may be disclosed. For example, a temporary service name between an application and a server such as a D2D server may be established such that a UE and/or network may execute such a service at a later time without later involvement by the application and/or without exchanging credentials for the application with the network and vice versa.

RESOURCE ALLOCATION AND TRANSFER IN A DISTRIBUTED NETWORK
The custodial block chain network is a distributed network of systems, including at least a first entity system, a second entity system, and a custodian entity system, wherein the network allows the first entity to quickly, securely, and easily allocate resources associated with a first user, via an electronic contract stored in the block chain, from the first entity to a second user associated with a second entity. The custodian entity system provides, through the use of the network, resource pools for the first and the second entities, and holds allocated resources from the first entity system until acceptance of the electronic contract. Upon acceptance of the electronic contract, the resources are released by the custodian entity to the resource pool associated with the second entity allowing the second entity to provide the allocated resources to the second user.
FILE USABILITY BASED ON A SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
Apparatuses, systems, methods, and program products are disclosed for file usability based on a system configuration. A user module determines a recipient of a file that is distributed to the recipient by a sender. A system module determines a configuration of a recipient's system. An action module performs one or more compatibility actions associated with a file in response to determining that the file is not compatible with the recipient's system configuration. A compatibility action includes an action related to usability of the file on the recipient's system. A compatibility action is performed on a sender's system prior to the sender distributing a file to a recipient.
BLUETOOTH LOW ENERGY CONNECTION POWER CONSUMPTION
A method includes receiving, by a device, a portion of a data packet from a peer device during a reception time period, decoding a portion of a protocol data unit (PDU) of the data packet, decoding at least a portion of a header of the PDU, determining that the data packet is an empty packet according to the header, and aborting, by the device, reception of a remaining portion of the data packet to early terminate the reception time period.

INDICATION OF ERROR VECTOR MAGNITUDE CAPABILITY
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first device may generate an indication of an error vector magnitude (EVM) capability of the first device, where the first device is configured to transmit a positioning reference signal. The first device may transmit the indication to a second device. Numerous other aspects are described.
