UE and MME for determining NBIFOM mode

Communications control in response to establishment of a multi-access PDN connection or with rejection of establishment of a multi-access PDN connection is performed based on a response to a PDN connectivity establishment request from a terminal device. This provides a method of communication control and the like in response to a multi-access PDN connectivity establishment request from the terminal device.

Method and apparatus for capability-based multimedia interactions

Methods and systems are disclosed for enabling participants to interact remotely through multiple multimedia channels based on the configured capabilities of participants. The system consists of a server and one or more client devices. On joining new interactive session, the attributes and capabilities of the participant are determined. Other participants are notified as to the attributes and capabilities of the new participant. The interaction between participants is determined by their attributes and capabilities and that of the participant they wish to interact with. Participants can use a client device to join a session. If the device is capable of rendering a graphical display based on the capability information configured for that participant and device, participants can view multiple views rendered for the session in different regions of a display. The participants may interact with members of the session they select based on their mutual configured capabilities, may change the views displayed and their sizes, and may get dynamic updates as to the set of participants if their capability information supports that.

Real-time scalable virtual session and network analytics

Provided herein are systems and methods for providing insights or metrics in connection with provisioning applications and/or desktop sessions to end-users. Network devices (e.g., appliances, intermediary devices, gateways, proxy devices or middle-boxes) can gather insights such as network-level statistics. Additional insights (e.g., metadata and metrics) associated with virtual applications and virtual desktops can be gathered to provide administrators with comprehensive end-to-end real-time and/or historical reports of performance and end-user experience (UX) insights. Insights relating to an application or desktop session can be used to determine and/or improve the overall health of the infrastructure of the session, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, the applications (e.g., remote desktop application) being delivered using the infrastructure, and/or the corresponding user experience.

Neighbor awareness networking password authentication

An apparatus comprises a memory and at least one processor in communication with the memory. The at least one processor is to detect, during a discovery window, a neighboring client station that is to perform peer-to-peer Wi-Fi communication via a Neighbor Awareness Networking (NAN) protocol and establish, via a negotiation after the discovery window, a datapath with the neighboring client station, wherein the negotiation includes an exchange of NAN data path setup attributes in parallel with an exchange of encryption cipher attributes and the encryption cipher is based on a simultaneous authentication of equals (SAE) protocol. The SAE protocol can be used to generate key material to encrypt the datapath.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may act as a relay device and receive a message from a source device. The message may be a broadcast message and may include a service type indicator. The UE may identify a capability configuration for the UE that is associated with the UE communicating via a first air interface with the source device and at least one other air interface. The UE may establish a connection to the source device on the air interface based on the capability configuration and the service type indicator.

User input back channel for wireless displays

As part of a communication session, a wireless source device can transmit audio and video data to a wireless sink device, and the wireless sink device can transmit user input data received at the wireless sink device back to the wireless source device. In this manner, a user of the wireless sink device can control the wireless source device and control the content that is being transmitted from the wireless source device to the wireless sink device. The user input data transmitted by the wireless sink device can be input data obtained at a third party device and forwarded to the wireless source device.

Multilayer tunneling of protocols over QUIC

A client and a server negotiate a version of a protocol that supports multiplexed connections using a connectionless transport layer protocol, such as a QUIC protocol that is supported for a connection between the client and the server. The connection can support one or more streams. The client embeds a first extension in a cryptographic handshake. The first extension includes a structure that indicates a set of protocols supported by the client at a set of layers. The client and the server then concurrently negotiate a subset of the protocols and a subset of the layers that are supported by the client and the server. Data is tunneled from the subset of the protocols and the subset of the layers over the connection between the client and the server. The data is tunneled using stream frames that include the data, a first field having a value indicating a layer type, and a second field having a value indicating a protocol type.

A data transmission method and an apparatus are provided. The data transmission method in the present invention includes: determining, by a first device and according to data stream information, whether a data transfer protocol TCP parameter in a data stream corresponding to the data stream information needs to be modified, where the data stream information includes at least one of the following information: information about the first device, information about a second device, service information, or network status information; if determining that the TCP parameter needs to be modified, modifying, by the first device, the TCP parameter, to obtain a modified TCP parameter; and generating, by the first device, a modification result of the TCP parameter.
