Multimedia broadcast multicast service signaling and backward compatibility
Wireless communication systems and methods related to determining a new multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) configuration for a MBMS that is backward compatible with a legacy MBMS configurations. A base station determines a MBMS configuration. The MBMS configuration includes at least one non-optional field that indicates compatibility with a first user equipment (UE) having a first MBMS capability or compatibility with a second UE having a second MBMS capability. The MBMS configuration also includes a sub-carrier spacing indication for a MBMS corresponding to the first MBMS capability or the second MBMS capability. The MBMS configuration is broadcasted to the first UE and the second UE.
Switchable communication transport for communication between primary devices and vehicle head units
In general techniques are described by which to provide switchable communication transport for communication between primary devices and vehicle head units. A primary device comprising a memory and a processor may be configured to perform the techniques. The memory may store an operating system and an application. The processor may execute the operating system to present a single communication interface by which the application establishes a first transport between the primary device and a vehicle head unit that facilitates execution of a mode in which the application provides data for presentation by the vehicle head unit. The processor may also execute the application to transmit, during execution of the mode, the data via the first transport, where the operating system switches, during execution of the mode, from the first transport to a second transport. The application transmits, during execution of the mode, the data via the second transport.
Multimedia priority service
A wireless device sends, to an access and mobility management function (AMF), a request for a multimedia priority service (MPS). The wireless device receives, from the AMF, a connection capability indication indicating network support for a connection of the wireless device for the MPS. The wireless device sends to the AMF, based on the connection capability indication, a request for a packet data unit (PDU) session establishment.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SCHEDULING A WORKFLOW
Systems and methods for scheduling a network-based media processing (NBMP) workflow based on a scheme mode are provided. The scheme mode may be obtained by a NBMP workflow manager based on received information that indicates the scheme mode. The NBMP workflow manager may schedule tasks of the NBMP workflow to be executed to process media in accordance with the scheme mode indicated in the information. The scheme mode may be a by order mode, a by duration mode, a by event mode, or a by timeslot mode.
METHOD TO INSERT PROGRAM BOUNDARIES IN LINEAR VIDEO FOR ADAPTIVE BITRATE STREAMING
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a system for indicating a program boundary in an adaptive bitrate media stream, where the system includes a memory and a processor that performs operations including generating multiple transcoded media output streams of different bit rates from an input linear media stream, fragmenting the multiple transcoded media output streams into chunks, detecting a program boundary in the input linear media stream, and supplying a program change indicator in a manifest file for implementing program change features in mobile communication devices. Other embodiments are disclosed.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application relates to the field of communication technologies, and discloses a communication method and apparatus. The method includes: A terminal device receives indication information from a first access network device. The indication information is used to indicate to fall back a capability of the terminal device to a first protocol version. The terminal device communicates, based on the indication information, with the first access network device by using first capability information. A protocol version corresponding to the first capability information is lower than or equal to the first protocol version. In this method, because a network device can explicitly indicate to fall back the capability of the terminal device to the first protocol version, the terminal device can specially reduce the capability, so as to quickly resolve a communication problem caused by incompatibility between the terminal device and the access network device.
COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL FOR PROVIDING VIDEO CUSTOMIZED ALERTING TONEST BASED ON EARLY SESSION MODEL
The present disclosure provides an optimal method of delivering a called party's set video during a voice call connection to the calling party as video Customized Alerting Tones (CAT). More specifically, to generate a video call that delivers the video CAT in the form of early media from a voice call, the disclosure utilizes the early session model suggested by the 3GPP standard to provide a communication protocol for negotiating and establishing a session for the early media. Additionally, the present disclosure provides a method of performing exception handling in a communication protocol for video CAT delivery to ensure calling stability in abnormalities such as errors occurring in the codec negotiation process for video CAT in the network, server failure situations, and user equipment and server malfunctions.

COMPUTE EXPRESS LINK OVER ETHERNET IN COMPOSABLE DATA CENTERS
Techniques for sending Compute Express Link (CXL) packets over Ethernet (CXL-E) in a composable data center that may include disaggregated, composable servers. The techniques may include receiving, from a first server device, a request to bind the first server device with a multiple logical device (MLD) appliance. Based at least in part on the request, a first CXL-E connection may be established for the first server device to export a computing resource to the MLD appliance. The techniques may also include receiving, from the MLD appliance, an indication that the computing resource is available, and receiving, from a second server device, a second request for the computing resource. Based at least in part on the second request, a second CXL-E connection may be established for the second server device to consume or otherwise utilize the computing resource of the first server device via the MLD appliance.
