Apparatus for transmitting broadcast signals, apparatus for receiving broadcast signals, method for transmitting broadcast signals and method for receiving broadcast signals

A broadcast signal transmission method includes generating, by a packetizer, a first transport packet carrying one or more fragments of a delivery object and a second transport packet carrying signaling data based on an Asynchronous Layered Coding/Layered Coding Transport (ALC/LCT) scheme. Further, a header of the first transport packet includes offset information representing a starting byte position of a fragment of the delivery object included in the first transport packet, the header of the first transport packet includes Transport Object Identifier (TOI) information that is mapped to Uniform Resource Locator (URL) information for the delivery object described in the signaling data and Transport Session Identifier (TSI) information for identifying a transport session, and the signaling data includes content type information presenting a type of a content.

RAN-ASSISTED RATE ADAPTATION
20220104073 · 2022-03-31 ·

A base station transmits a rate recommendation to a first user equipment (UE) device. The rate recommendation is to be used for a Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) call between the first UE device and a second UE device. In some instances, the first UE device and the second UE device negotiate the rate to be used for the VoLTE call, based on the rate recommended by the base station. If the negotiated rate is supported by the base station and/or matches a supported codec rate, the UE devices implement the rate and provide rate feedback to the base station.

Technologies for autonegotiating 10G and 1G serial communications over copper cable

Technologies for autonegotiation of communications operational modes over copper cable include a network port logic having a communication link coupled to a remote link partner. The network port logic may start an autonegotiation protocol upon reset, when the link is broken, or upon manual renegotiation. The network port logic transmits an autonegotiation page to the remote link partner that indicates single-lane communications ability over copper cable. The network port logic receives an autonegotiation page from the link partner indicating single-lane communications ability over copper cable. If the network port logic and link partner have a common single-lane communication ability, the link may be activated. The autonegotiation pages may be base pages or next pages. The single-lane communication ability may be indicated by one or more bits of the autonegotiation pages. The link may be established at 1 gigabit or 10 gigabits per second. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Access method and apparatus

Embodiments of the present invention provide an access method, including: sending, to an access point, a first frame that carries uplink transmission requirement information; and if a second frame that carries information about an uplink transmission resource is received from the access point within agreed time period, sending uplink multi-user transmission data to the access point, where the uplink multi-user transmission data is transmitted on the uplink transmission resource; or if the second frame is not received within an agreed time period, accessing, by a station, a channel in a contention access manner that is based on carrier sense CSMA/CA. According to the method provided in the embodiments of the present invention, a channel access manner can be managed, a congestion degree of a system can be decreased, and channel utilization can be increased.

Network device for managing a call between user terminals

A network device for managing a call between user terminals checks whether a first user terminal supports usage of a first audio coding mode for the call, and a second user terminal intends to use a second audio coding mode for the call, and, if the first user terminal supports the usage of the first audio coding mode, and the second user terminal intends to use the second audio coding mode, repacks first data of the call sent from the first user terminal to the second user terminal and packetized into first packets referring to the second audio coding mode, into second packets referring to the first audio coding mode; and repacks second data of the call sent from the second user terminal to the first user terminal and packetized into third packets referring to the second audio coding mode, into fourth packets referring to the first audio coding mode.

REAL-TIME SCALABLE VIRTUAL SESSION AND NETWORK ANALYTICS

Provided herein are systems and methods for providing insights or metrics in connection with provisioning applications and/or desktop sessions to end-users. Network devices (e.g., appliances, intermediary devices, gateways, proxy devices or middle-boxes) can gather insights such as network-level statistics. Additional insights (e.g., metadata and metrics) associated with virtual applications and virtual desktops can be gathered to provide administrators with comprehensive end-to-end real-time and/or historical reports of performance and end-user experience (UX) insights. Insights relating to an application or desktop session can be used to determine and/or improve the overall health of the infrastructure of the session, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, the applications (e.g., remote desktop application) being delivered using the infrastructure, and/or the corresponding user experience.
