In one embodiment, a first networking device sends, to a second networking device, a training frame of a transmitter training signal (TTS) that includes a request for the second networking device to enable a protocol on the second networking device. In addition, the first networking device receives, from the second networking device, an indication that the second networking device has enabled the protocol on the second networking device. The first networking device may also send, using the protocol, first flow-control information indicating a number of data packets sent by the first networking device to the second networking device and a number of acknowledgments received from the second networking device, in addition to receiving second flow-control information indicating a number of data packets received at the second networking device from the first networking device and a number of acknowledgments sent by the second networking device to the first networking device.

System and method of providing simulated three-dimensional objects

A device can receive an identification of an environmental model associated with a user navigating a website and receive an identification of an item model associated with an item requested by the user to be shown in connection with the environmental model on a client device. The environmental model could be a body model of the user or of another force like wind. The item model models how the item would move in connection with the environmental model. The device identifies movement associated with the environmental model and generates, based on the environmental model and the item model, frames each having respective data of the item as it would move on the environmental model according to the movement to yield movement key attributes. The device transmits the movement key attributes to the client device for rendering using a client device rendering engine.

Smart peripheral device for an information handling system

In one embodiment, a method for offloading one or more tasks from an information handling system to a smart peripheral device in a computing environment includes establishing a connection between the smart peripheral device and the information handling system; receiving a user identification from the information handling system indicating a user of the information handling system; receiving a query from the information handling system requesting a capabilities inventory of the smart peripheral device indicating the one or more tasks to be offloaded; determining user permissions based on a configuration policy of the smart peripheral device; generating the capabilities inventory based on the user permissions; sending the capabilities inventory to the information handling system; receiving one or more commands from the information handling system indicating the one or more tasks to be offloaded from the information handling system to the smart peripheral device; and executing the one or more commands.

FRAME EXCHANGE METHOD FOR BEAMFORMING

A method by a wireless device functioning as a beamformer station in a wireless network to perform a sounding procedure. The method includes generating a NDPA frame, wherein the NDPA frame includes a sounding dialog token field, wherein bit B0 of the sounding dialog token field is set to binary ‘1’ and bit B1 of the sounding dialog token field is set to binary ‘1’ to indicate that the NDPA frame is an extremely high throughput (EHT) NDPA frame and wirelessly transmitting the NDPA frame to one or more beamformee stations. The NDPA frame may include an indication of whether a beamformee station should acknowledge the NDP announcement frame or not. The NDPA frame may be transmitted in a first frequency band, while a beamformed data frame is transmitted in a second frequency band that is a higher frequency band than the first frequency band.

IDENTIFICATION OF UNSUPPORTED DEVICE CAPABILITY TO SERVICE PROVIDER FOR ENHANCEMENT AND CUSTOMER ATTRACTION

A client device for identifying unsupported capabilities. A client device detects unsupported capabilities and notifies a service provider or device manufacturer of the unsupported capabilities. The service provider notifies the client device of support for the unsupported capabilities including possible upgrades that may be provided to the client device.

Apparatus, method and computer program for user plane function control by a set of controllers

There is provided an apparatus, said apparatus comprising means for providing, from a first function instance of a set of first function instances to a second function, first information comprising an indication that a protocol session between the first function and the second function is controllable by different instances of the set of first function instances and receiving, at one of the set of first function instances from the second function, a protocol session related message based on the first information.

Method for recommending a communication stack
11272027 · 2022-03-08 · ·

A method for recommending a communication stack formed of communication protocols, relating to a data session between a terminal and a first server to provide content in a network including a second server responsible for providing the content by delegation from the first server, the first server having detected incompatibility of the stack used by the terminal and having transmitted a redirection message including information relating to a recommendation of the stack to be used to obtain the content to the terminal. In the method, the second server receives, from the terminal, an acquisition request message; selects a stack to be recommended based on data relating to the communication network or to the received acquisition request message; transmits, to the terminal, a recommendation message including the recommended stack; and receives a message transmitted by the terminal, using the recommended stack, relating to the acquisition of the item of content.
