Method and apparatus for multimedia communication, and storage medium
This application discloses a method and an apparatus for multimedia communication. A session page is loaded by using a browser kernel integrated in a local client, and a script on the session page is executed by using the browser kernel, to perform the following operations: exchanging a control parameter with a peer client by using a signaling server; establishing a data channel between the local client and the peer client; collecting multimedia data and transmitting the multimedia data to the peer client through the data channel, so that the peer client plays the multimedia data by using a media stream parameter of the local client; and receiving, through the data channel, the multimedia data collected by the peer client, and playing the multimedia data on the session page according to a media stream parameter of the peer client. In this way, cross-client multimedia communication is implemented.
Messaging service in a wireless communications network
A method may comprise receiving a first message formatted according to an SMS format, by a first mobile wireless device from a second mobile wireless device, via a mobile operator base station. The first mobile wireless device may subscribe to a service for transmitting and receiving packet switched messages, via the Internet and the mobile operator base station. The method may further comprise retrieving, by the first mobile wireless device, information corresponding to at least one mobile phone number of the second mobile wireless device and transmitting, by the first mobile wireless device, after the subscribing, a request including at least the information corresponding to the at least one mobile phone number of the second mobile wireless device, to determine whether the mobile wireless device corresponds to a subscriber of the service.
METHOD FOR DOWNLOADING A MESSAGE CLIENT AND AUTHENTICATING A MOBILE PHONE NUMBER
A method may comprise downloading a message client on a first mobile wireless device and authenticating, via the message client and the first mobile wireless device, a first mobile phone number of the first mobile wireless device to a service for transmitting and receiving packet switched messages. The authenticating may be performed via an SMS protocol. The method may further comprise transmitting, after the authenticating, a request including at least information corresponding to a second mobile phone number of a second mobile wireless device, to determine whether the second mobile wireless device corresponds to a subscriber of the service. A response to the request may be received indicating that the second mobile wireless device corresponds to a subscriber of the service. A message format of the service may not be an SMS message format, a MMS message format or an EMS message format.
DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DEVICE
Provided are a data transmission method and device. The method includes: processing a first data packet to be sent by using a compression strategy obtained in advance from a receiving end, deleting specified duplicated data comprised in the compression strategy in the first data packet; generating a second data packet to be sent from the processed first data packet, where the second data packet includes a modification record field for indicating the deleted duplicated data; and sending the second data packet to the receiving end.
MOBILE EDGE COMPUTING APPLICATIONS MANAGEMENT FOR WIRELESS NETWORKS
A technique may include receiving, from an external applications controller, by a mobile edge computing applications manager provided on a mobile edge computing server that is in proximity to a radio access network, a mobile edge computing application criteria that includes management rules for managing at least a portion of a lifecycle of a mobile edge computing application; and storing the mobile edge computing application criteria. In an example embodiment, a technique may further include managing at least a portion of a lifecycle of the mobile edge computing application based on the mobile edge computing application criteria.
BITRATE ADAPTATION OF A VOICE-OVER-IP COMMUNICATION SESSION
A method for adapting an encoding bitrate of real-time signals of a real-time communication session between sender devices and receiver devices of communication terminals. A sender device includes a multi-bitrate encoder using a set of discrete bitrates. The method includes a test step of increasing the encoding bitrate at the sender device by transmitting at least one redundant packet according to selected transmission parameters. A method is also provided for determining a request to adapt the encoding bitrate of real-time signals in order to implement a test of increasing the encoding bitrate at the sender device by transmitting at least one redundant packet according to selected transmission parameters. A sender device and a receiver device implementing the methods are provides as well as a terminal containing these devices.
MESSAGE TRANSMISSION METHOD, MESSAGE TRANSMISSION DEVICE, NETWORK SIDE DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A message transmission method, a message transmission device, a network side device and a storage medium are provided. The method includes: determining a PTP version of a sending port set by a network side device; sending a first PTP message that uses the PTP version of the sending port through the sending port.
ALTERNATE PROTOCOL NEGOTIATION IN A HIGH PERFORMANCE INTERCONNECT
A port of a computing device is to communicate with another device over a link, the port including physical layer logic of a first protocol, link layer logic of each of a plurality of different protocols, and protocol negotiation logic to determine which of the plurality of different protocols to apply on the link. The protocol negotiation logic is to send and receive ordered sets in a configuration state of a link training state machine of the first protocol, where the ordered sets include an identifier of a particular one of the plurality of different protocols. The protocol negotiation logic is to determine from the ordered sets that a link layer of the particular protocol is to be applied on the link.
Load balancing system
Populating a routing dataset for a load balancing system with service capability data is provided. The approach includes requesting a production environment to perform a service. Based on the production environment indicating that it does not have the capability of performing the requested service, the method includes storing data in a routing dataset, the data including an indicator indicating that the production environment is incapable of performing the service.
Multi-protocol frame format
Communication apparatus includes a transceiver configured to communicate over a wireless channel in accordance with both a first and a second communication protocol. The second communication protocol is backward-compatible with the first communication protocol, and has an extended range, which is greater than a nominal range defined by the first communication protocol. A communication controller is configured to generate data frames for transmission by the transceiver, including frame headers in a header format that is compatible both with the first communication protocol and with the second communication protocol. The frame headers include a set of legacy header fields. The communication controller is configured to transmit the legacy fields with a first gain according to the first communication protocol, and to apply a second gain, greater than the first gain, to a transmission of at least one of the legacy header fields for communicating in accordance with the second communication protocol.
