Disclosed herein are a method, system, and computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions for notifying a user of available realty in proximity to the user's approximate current location. In an embodiment, a triggering location region is defined based on the user's approximate current location. The triggering location region includes a second location that is associated with another person's profile that correlates with the user's profile. An alert is automatically provided to the user if available realty is within the defined triggering location region. In another embodiment, if available realty within the triggering location region meets the user's preferred criteria, information about the available realty may be automatically provided to the user.

The server may determine timing information for status data received via the first interface and for status data received via the second interface. The server may send, based on the timing information, a message to a computing device indicating the loss of communication.

A network host such as a caching device is disclosed that greatly increases the speed with which a server reads and writes data for clients. The host may include a specialized network interface that not only processes TCP but also parses received network file system headers, identifying those headers within the TCP data stream, separating them from any corresponding network file system data, and providing them separately from that data to the network file system of the host for processing as a batch, all without any interrupt to the host. Similarly, the network file system of the host may communicate directly with the network interface by writing network file system headers directly to a register of the network interface to transmit data.

A network device configured to perform scalable, in-network computations is described. The network device is configured to process pull requests and/or push requests from a plurality of endpoints connected to the network. A collective communication primitive from a particular endpoint can be received at a network device. The collective communication primitive is associated with a multicast region of a shared global address space and is mapped to a plurality of participating endpoints. The network device is configured to perform an in-network computation based on information received from the participating endpoints before forwarding a response to the collective communication primitive back to one or more of the participating endpoints. An injection policy comprising the issuing of credits enables each endpoint to limit the amount of collective communication primitives injected into the network simultaneously to reduce network congestion caused by increased network traffic due to the multicast capability of the network devices.

The network address information removal operation removes network address information stored by the remote core edge node. The network address information is used by the remote core edge node in participating in communications with the core edge node.

Method and system for consolidating events across sensors

A method may receive, in response to a first event, a first sensor data from a first sensor, and receive, in response to the first event, a second sensor data from a second sensor. The method may select, from among a plurality of event profiles, a first event profile. The first event profile may comprise a first condition matching the first sensor data, a second condition matching the second sensor data, and a plurality of conditions which, when met, indicate the occurrence of the first event. Conditions may include a sensor data, a time period, a user data, a sequence of conditions, or a combination of such data. The first event profile may comprise a first event notice to be provided in response to the occurrence of the first event. The method may provide the first event notice to a recipient indicated by the event profile.

A system and method of disseminating bootload images through a wireless network are disclosed. The central node, or server, transmits segments of the bootload image using broadcast so that all wireless network devices receive the image at the same time. The server then individually queries each wireless device to determine whether there are any segments of the image that were not received by that particular wireless device. The server then retransmits, using broadcast, any segment that was not received by any wireless device. Once every wireless device has the entire image, the server may initiate the process of installing that image.
