Predictive queue flushing for real-time synchronization of data sets between two data stores, comprising a data synchronization software module that interfaces with each data store, and uses a queue monitor to record and store changes to data on each data store and calculate velocity and acceleration of event arrivals, and a policy manager to manage synchronization, and a query generator to incorporate policies from the policy manager and measurements from the queue monitor to direct the data synchronization software module, flushing the change queue in accordance with the established synchronization policy, yielding synchronized shared data sets.

Blockchain-based property management

Methods, systems, and apparatuses for blockchain-based property management are described herein. According to a first embodiment of the disclosure, a plurality of computing systems may be established at a plurality of points along a supply chain associated with the manufacture, shipment, and sale of a physical property item. At each of the plurality of points, the plurality of computing systems may identify data corresponding to the physical property item, which may be stored on a blockchain associated with a decentralized peer-to-peer (e.g., P2P) network. According to a second embodiment of the disclosure, content creator computing devices may transmit digital property item upload requests to a digital property management computing device, which may generate smart contracts corresponding to the requests. Through execution of the smart contracts, access may be granted to digital property items and fees may be provided to the content creator computing devices.

Duplication and rlc operation in new radio access technology

In accordance with example embodiments as described herein there is at least an apparatus and method to perform determining that at least one packet data convergence protocol data unit of a packet data convergence protocol sublayer are duplicate packet data convergence protocol data units of the packet data convergence protocol sublayer having been submitted for transmission on two or more carriers in a communication network; signaling to a control sublayer an indication of each packet data convergence protocol data unit that is a duplicate packet data convergence protocol data unit; and based on the indication, preventing a trigger of a radio link failure when a number of retransmissions based on the duplicate packet data convergence protocol data units reaches a threshold number of retransmissions. Further, there is at least an apparatus and method to perform transmitting packet data convergence protocol data unit duplicates over two or more carriers; receiving an indication that indicates packet data convergence protocol data unit has been correctly transmitted via one of two or more carriers; and upon receiving the indication, instructing to discard other packet data convergence protocol duplicates over carriers other than the one of two or more carriers with a successful delivery.

Self-descriptive orchestratable modules in software-defined industrial systems

Various systems and methods are provided for implementing a software defined industrial system. In an example, self-descriptive control applications and software modules are provided in the context of orchestratable distributed systems. The self-descriptive control applications may be executed by an orchestrator or like control device, configured to: identify available software modules adapted to perform functional operations in a control system environment; identify operational characteristics that identify characteristics of execution of the available software modules that are available to implement a control system application; select a software module for execution based on the operational configuration and the operational characteristics identified in the manifest; and cause the execution of the selected software module in the control system environment based on an application specification for the control system application.

Radio link failure recovery

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for radio link failure recovery. One method includes determining, at a first user equipment, an occurrence of a radio link failure with a second user equipment. The method includes transmitting information indicating the radio link failure. The method includes starting a timer in response to transmitting the information indicating the radio link failure. The method includes, after starting the timer and before the timer expires, transmitting one or more messages to the second user equipment requesting feedback from the second user equipment.

EMS resolution of split-brain virtual network function components

An example operation may include a system, comprising one or more of receiving a virtual network function component instance (VNFCI) status notification resumption message with an active state when a peer VNFCI operational state is active, retrieving a timestamp of a VNFCI state change to an active state from an element VNFCI state database, retrieving a timestamp of a peer VNFCI state change to active from an element VNFCI state database, sending one or more of: a request to a virtual network function manager (VNFM) to determine if the VNFCI network is isolating while an operating state was active, and a request to the VNFM to determine if the peer VNFCI network is isolating while an operating state was active, sending a state change request with standby state to the peer VNFCI when the VNFCI is not network isolated and the peer VNFCI is network isolated, and a VNFM response is received regarding the VNFCI, a timeout response from the VNFM, and a VNFM response is received regarding the peer VNFCI, and sending a state change request with standby to the VNFCI with one or more of: the VNFCI network isolate and peer VNFCI is not network isolated, and the VNFCI is network isolated or the peer VNFCI is not network isolated, and the VNFCI is not network isolated and the peer VNFCI is network isolated and the VNFCI is in preferred standby.
