Customized domain names in a content delivery network (CDN)

A computer-implemented method, operable in a content delivery network (CDN) including a plurality of cache servers and domain name servers. At a cache server in the CDN, a first domain name is obtained, the first domain name being associated with a client request for a resource from the cache server. One or more values associated with the client request are determined and a second domain name is generated, including information from the first domain name and information relating to the one or more values associated with the client request. The second domain name is provided to the client.

Radio module as web-controllable remote sensor

The present invention provides for network control of a radio module having a plurality of input/output (I/O) ports capable of communication with one or more sensing devices across a network, where the radio module may be controlled remotely to obtain information from one or more networked remote sensing devices.

Information processing system

An information processing system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a communication terminal, and a plurality of identifier information transmitting apparatuses. The identifier information transmitting apparatuses are installed in a plurality of respective locations, and each of the identifier information transmitting apparatuses transmits a different piece of identifier information. The communication terminal receives the identifier information transmitted from the identifier information transmitting apparatuses, generates an email address including the identifier information, and acquires an email that is addressed to the generated email address.

Methods, apparatus and/or system for using email to schedule and/or launch group communications sessions

Methods and system for scheduling or launching online and phone sessions between two or more people via email and other electronic communication channels without the requirement for an account with the session service provider when scheduling the session. By including a designated service provider email address in the recipient list of the host's email or meeting invitation, a user account can be, and in some embodiments is automatically created by the service provider system in response to receipt of such an Email and session invitations are automatically sent to the host and invitees designated in the host's email or meeting invitation. In this way the host and invites calendars can be automatically updated and populated with session information and information on how to joint the session, e.g., on-line meeting or conference. The Email from the communications provider system can, and in some embodiments does, take the form of an updated invite Email message with the information in the Email from the service provider system updating or replacing information supplied by the original invite from the host.

Resolution of Entity Identifiers Using Type Dependent Normalization

A system, method, and computer-readable medium for resolving an identity of an entity, comprising: parsing entity identifier information, the parsing generating entity identifier elements from the entity identifier information; classifying an entity identifier element with an entity identifier element type; normalizing an entity identifier element to provide a normalized entity identifier element; and, associating the normalized entity identifier element with an entity to resolve the identity of the entity.

Messaging protocol

Systems and methods provide for implementation of a messaging protocol that provides security necessary for clinical messaging while also providing scalability needed to properly function within a clinical setting. The messaging protocol provides for federation of messages across messaging domains with a direct target address or via a role or group endpoint address that resolves to one or more target addresses. The messaging protocol also provides the ability to include content other than text in messages.

Techniques for network redirection

Techniques for connecting computer system entities to remotely located computer system resources by redirecting locators are described herein. A computer system entity that requests access to a computer system resource may first obtain an identifier for that resource and, based on the identifier, may determine the region for that resource. A routing service then resolves the locator to locate a content management system that stores executable scripts that provide access to the computer system resources by redirecting the locator. The location of the executable scripts is based at least in part on the processing of the locator by the content management system.

Output device discovery using network switches

A network device managing system is provided for determining network addresses of network devices using network switches. The system comprises a server that determines network switches that communicate with the server, and receives network addresses of devices that are to be excluded from an address search. For each network switch: one or more first addresses of one or more devices that are configured on a switch are received from the switch. For each device, from the one or more devices configured on the switch, in response to determining that a first address of a device does not match any of the addresses of devices that are to be excluded from the address search, the server determines whether an association between the first address and a second address is stored in a server data repository, and if it is, the server transmits the second address to a global data repository.

Domain name registration reservation through the use of encoding domain names for pools
10412045 · 2019-09-10 · ·

A technique for facilitating registration of an internet domain name with the domain name system (DNS) is presented. The technique can include receiving a request to register an encoding domain name with the DNS, where the encoding domain name includes an indication of a temporal event and of a pool of domain names. The technique can also include registering the encoding domain name to a registrant, thereby conferring to the registrant a right to register a target domain name of the registrant's selection from the pool of domain names upon specified conditions, where the specified conditions include an occurrence of the temporal event. The technique can also include receiving a request initiated by the registrant to register the target domain name. The technique can also include registering the target domain name to the registrant after satisfaction of the specified conditions.

Method for publishing and sharing content on the internet
10404634 · 2019-09-03 ·

A computer-implemented system and method for enabling publishing/sharing of content to a web page by sending an email to a centralized email address. This is accomplished with an email server that employs a modular array of software inclusive of a Message Monitoring System (MMS) software application, an interpretation layer software module (the Interpeter Module), and Message Posting System (MPS) software application. The MMS software automatically extracts messages, invokes the Interpeter Module to detect, the sending format and to provide necessary reformatting. The MMS software then invokes the MPS software which posts the reformatted message content to a designated web page at the assigned URL. Any user registered or not can post any content to a web page anytime simply by sending, the content to a singular email address (e.g, Post@abovo42.com). The present solution is easy to use and enables real-time publishing/sharing by multiple users.
