Method, apparatus and program product for merging communication sessions in an IMS
The present invention relates to a session merging entity in a communication system IMS. The merging entity is handling communication of the first user; the communication comprises a first session and a second session. The first session and the second session are merged into a single session towards the second user, if the same IMS communication service identifier has been indicated for the first session and the second session. The merging entity may also be located at the terminal device of the second user.
Method and system for generating IP address profiles
A method and server for generating an IP address profile are provided. The method may include first gathering information about an IP address associated with an Internet user based at least in part on the Internet user's activity with respect to one or more Internet sites. The information may be stored in a database in association with the IP address, and a profile associated with the IP address may be generated based at least in part on the stored information. At some point, a request may be received for the profile from a web server in response to the Internet user requesting access to an Internet site associated with the web server. In response, the profile may be transmitted to the web server, such that the web server can dynamically alter one or more configurations of the Internet site based at least in part on the profile.
Radio module as web-controllable remote sensor
The present invention provides for network control of a radio module having a plurality of input/output (I/O) ports capable of communication with one or more sensing devices across a network, where the radio module may be controlled remotely to obtain information from one or more networked remote sensing devices.
System and method for connecting a communication to a client
A method and system for connecting a communication to a client including at a system bridge, establishing a client subscription connection with a client device; receiving an incoming communication request at the system bridge; publishing an incoming communication notification from the system bridge to the client device; receiving a client communication at the system bridge; and merging the incoming communication request into the client communication at the system bridge.
CLIENT DEVICE APPLICATION INTERACTION MONITORING
Systems and methods herein allow for automatic monitoring of conversions associated with uniform resource identifiers (URIs) accessed via client applications but actuated on web browsers. Upon actuation of a URI on a browser of a client device, a data processing system can assign a click ID to the actuation event and send it to the client device. The client device can open the URI in a client application and send the click ID and a client ID associated with the client device to the client device. The data processing system can map the click ID to the client ID. Upon occurrence of a URI related conversion, on the client application, the data processing system can receive a conversion message indicative of the conversion and including the client ID, and link the URI related conversion to the click ID based on the stored mapping.

IDENTIFIERS AND TRIGGERS FOR CAPILLARY DEVICES
Methods and apparatuses for capillary network device registration implemented in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) are disclosed. Registration or bootstrap messages may be received by a capillary network device where the WTRU acts as a gateway for communication between the capillary device and a network such as a 3GPP network. A capillary network device identifier (CNDID) is sent to the capillary device. A packet data protocol (PDP) context or PDN connection may be established with the network and the CNDID may be sent to a machine type communications (MTC) server. The WTRU may create the registration message, establish a connection with the network, and forward the registration message to the MTC server. Methods and apparatuses implemented in a network are also disclosed for identifying, addressing, and triggering the capillary devices from the MTC server. The trigger message may include fields for group communication, reducing signaling, and enabling charging.
CLASSIFYING UNIFORM RESOURCE LOCATORS
Classifying a uniform resource locator (URL) includes: generating a first bloom filter to associate a uniform resource locator (URL) with a first URL category from a pre-determined set of URL categories, programming the first bloom filter with a set of identified URLs in a URL database, each identified URL respectively corresponding to at least one URL category from the pre-determined set of URL categories, extracting a target URL from a network packet stream, determining a set of hash strides for the target URL, and querying the first bloom filter with each hash stride of the set of hash strides to identify a corresponding URL category for the target URL from the set of URL categories.
Provisioning tool for a content delivery network (CDN)
A tool that allows a CDN customer, partner, or other authorized entity to create a DNS canonical name (CNAME) on the content delivery network without having to contact the content delivery network service provider directly.
