BLOCKCHAIN CONTROL METHOD
20210258142 · 2021-08-19 ·

A privileged node holds a secret key (SKEY), and normal nodes each hold a public key (PKEY). The normal nodes each include a transaction inputting unit that receives transaction data (TDATA), a transaction transmitting unit that transmits the TDATA, a transaction managing unit that manages a transaction history in a form of blockchain, and a block receiving unit that receives blocks from the privileged node. The privileged node includes a transaction receiving unit that receives TDATA from each of the normal nodes, a block generating unit that generates a signature value (SIG) on the basis of a SKEY, and generates a block containing TDATA and the SIG, and a block transmitting unit that transmits blocks. The transaction managing unit adds a block to the blockchain on condition that the authenticity of the SIG in the block is confirmed by using the PKEY.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DATA CACHING AND DELIVERY OVER A DECENTRALIZED EDGE NETWORK
20210227011 · 2021-07-22 ·

Methods and systems for caching and delivering data contents among peer nodes in a decentralized data delivery edge network are disclosed. The network comprises peer-to-peer (P2P) connections implemented on top of a content delivery network (CDN) having CDN servers that provide data resources to network nodes. Such a hybrid network comprises viewer peer nodes, edge cacher peer nodes, tracker servers, and a payment service module. An edge cacher peer node sends its client statistics to a tracker server, wherein the client statistics comprises a cacher location and a performance specification. In return, the tracker server provides caching instructions according to which the edge cacher peer node downloads fragments of a data file from a CDN server, for later transmission to other viewer peer nodes within the decentralized data delivery edge network.

Blockchain-based data evidence storage method and apparatus

Embodiments of the present application provide a blockchain-based data evidence storage method, a blockchain-based data check method, and relevant apparatuses. The data evidence storage method comprises: performing irreversible encryption on data content of a target file to obtain irreversibly encrypted data of the target file; storing the irreversibly encrypted data in a blockchain and obtaining on-chain evidence storage information of the irreversibly encrypted data; generating a digital watermark of the on-chain evidence storage information; embedding the digital watermark into the target file; and storing the target file embedded with the digital watermark of the on-chain evidence storage information.

TECHNIQUES FOR LAUNCHING APPLICATIONS BASED ON PARTIAL SIGNATURE VALIDATION
20210248211 · 2021-08-12 ·

Techniques are described for expanding and/or improving the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) 3.0 television protocol in robustly delivering the next generation broadcast television services. ATSC 3.0 applications may be launched based on partial validation, e.g., as soon as one level of validation passes, with ensuing layers being authenticated as the application commences launch and with launch being stopped if any layer fails validation.

Switching authentication and encryption of content between keys based on a key availability assurance value

The technologies described herein are generally directed toward facilitating switching encryption keys based on an assurance value. According to an embodiment, a method can comprise receiving, by a device comprising a processor and memory, an assurance value from a key distribution server. The method can further comprise, based on the assurance value, switching, by the device, encryption of a content item from being by a first encryption key to being by a second encryption key, wherein the assurance value is determined in response to a receiving of a second decryption key by a content consuming device, and wherein the first and second decryption keys are generated respectively to decrypt the content item encrypted by the first and second encryption keys.

System and method for scalably tracking media playback using blockchain
11095457 · 2021-08-17 · ·

Systems and methods for tracking media file playback are provided. First, transaction data from a platform stream is received. The transaction data corresponds to a request to play a media file from an end user. Next, the transaction data is verified. Then, the verified transaction data is signed using a cryptographic signature. Next, it is determined whether the transaction data corresponds to a valid blockchain transaction. If the transaction data corresponds to a valid blockchain transaction, the valid blockchain transaction is recorded to a blockchain. Last, the transaction data and the cryptographic signature are transmitted to one or more validation nodes.

DOCUMENT VERIFICATION

An example operation may include one or more of receiving, by a document processor node, a document with a user mark over a blockchain, determining, by the document processor node, if the document is associated with a collection of documents based on the user mark, and adding the document to the collection as a part of a process step.

DOCUMENT VERIFICATION

An example operation may include one or more of marking a document, by a user node, to be included into a collection of documents, determining, by the user node, a business process step associated with the document based on a user mark, and executing a transaction to store a hash of the document onto a ledger of a blockchain, wherein a Merkle tree hash is generated and tagged on the ledger with details of the business process step.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LIGHT-WEIGHT NETWORKED VOLUMETRIC ASSET CONTROL
20230403443 · 2023-12-14 ·

Systems, methods and apparatuses are described herein for controlling access to 3D media assets. An attribute of an entity represented in a 3D media asset may be identified, and a modified version of the 3D media asset may be generated by modifying such attribute. A request to access at least a portion of the 3D media asset may be received from a client device. A determination may be made, based on a policy associated with the 3D media asset, to enable access to the at least a portion of such asset. In response to such determination, an indication of how to process the modified version of the 3D media asset to reconstruct such asset comprising the attribute as identified prior to the modifying may be transmitted to the client device. Such client device may be caused to generate for display such 3D media asset based on the processing.
