Method and system for automatically connecting calls of voice over internet protocol (VOIP) service
Provided is a method and system for automatically connecting a call of a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service. A method of automatically connecting the VoIP call in an electronic device implemented by a computer may include a setting a specific counterpart among counterparts capable of making the VoIP call over a network as an automatic connection target; and automatically connecting a call with the specific counterpart immediately in response to executing a program including a function of providing the VoIP call without performing a calling operation and an acceptance operation for a call between a user of the electronic device and the specific counterpart.
Device independent text captioned telephone service
A communication system and method for displaying text captions corresponding to voice communications between an assisted user's mobile wireless device and a separate hearing user's device includes at least one communication component configured to enable the appliance to communicate with a relay, a display, and a processor operably coupled to the at least one communication component and the display. The processor is configured to enable the assisted user to establish an association between the appliance and the mobile device, receive text originating at the relay, the text corresponding to a transcript of the hearing user's voice signal originating at the hearing user's device, and cause text captions corresponding to the received text to be displayed on the display.
Smart phone with a text recognition module
A portable device can transmit information through one of a mobile phone network and an Internet, wherein the portable device includes a text-based communication module to allow a user may synchronously transmit or receive data through a local area network, wherein the data is text, audio, video or the combination thereof. The text-based communication module of the portable device includes a text-to-speech recognition module used to convert a text data for outputting the text data by vocal, and a read determination module for determining read target terminals and unread target terminals when a user of the portable phone device activates the read determination module.
Voice call management techniques in wireless communications
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for call continuity following radio link failure (RLF) through re-establishment of a voice call using a same or different radio access technology (RAT) before the call is dropped. Upon detection of RLF on a connection supporting a voice call, a UE may initiate a drop call timer and scan for available connections. The voice call may be attempted to be re-established if a connection is available on using a RAT of an existing connection. The voice call in such cases may continue without the call being dropped. Upon expiration of the drop call timer, the UE may attempt to establish a connection using a RAT identified during the duration of the drop call timer.
Voice communication method
An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes one or more processors and memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors. The one or more programs include instructions for receiving, from an external device associated with a contact, a request to establish a full-duplex live audio communication session between the electronic device and the external device; determining whether the contact is on a list; and in response to a determination that the contact is on the list, establishing the full-duplex live audio communication session between the electronic device and the external device, where the live audio communication session is established without receiving a user input that acknowledges the request.
Electronic device for controlled transmission of voice data packet and method thereof
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display, at least one communication circuit, and at least one processor configured to control the display and the at least one communication circuit. The at least one processor is configured to obtain a communication state using the at least one communication circuit during a packet based voice call, and to stop transmitting data associated with at least one of a plurality of background applications which operate in a background of an operating system (OS) of the electronic device when the communication state meets a specified first condition.
System and Method for Providing In-Call Display
A system and a method for providing in-call display is disclosed. A first interface wirelessly communicating to a second interface via a wireless communication channel. A call interface is configured to display said link upon clicking over said user interface. A media content interface is configured to display a plurality of options generated in real-time when said call is connected to said server interface. A first database consists of a plurality of modules for each service offered by said server interface, wherein each module from said first database comprises said plurality of options for said user interface to select. A second database is configured to receive said plurality of modules in real-time when said call is connected to said server interface, wherein said user interface is configured to select one or more of modules to according to a desired requirement of a user.
TRANSCRIPTION PRESENTATION OF COMMUNICATION SESSIONS
A system is provided that includes a first network interface for a first network type and a second network interface for a second network type that is different from the first network type. The system also includes at least one processor configured to cause the system to perform operations. The operations may include obtaining, from the first network interface, audio from a communication session with a remote device established over the first network and obtaining an indication of a communication device available to participate in the communication session and direct audio obtained from the communication session to a remote transcription system. The operations may also include directing the audio to the second network interface for transmission to the communication device, obtaining transcript data from the remote transcription system based on the audio, and directing the transcript data to the second network interface for transmission to the communication device.
CONFIGURABLE MULTI-FUNCTION RUGGEDIZED VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL (VoIP) COMMUNICATIONS DEVICE WITH UNIVERSAL APPLICATION PLATFORM
A configurable, multi-function IP-based communication product has a touch screen display and common hardware set form factor that can be configured for use in any of a plurality of operational modes and can be ruggedized for use in harsh environments. The common hardware set form factor enables the IP-based communication product to be optimized for commercial use, that is, easily adapted for different applications and environments using a minimal number of housing configurations or features (e.g., tactile buttons or dials). The operational modes can include, but are not limited to, VoIP telephone, video streaming for video calls, intercom, alarm activation for a central public address/general alarm (PA/GA) system, a serverless page-party (SP2) system, voice product with FLASH, product with conference function, transit on-board communications device, and so on.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DELIVERING MULTIMEDIA COMMUNICATION DATA TO A THIN CLIENT DEVICE
Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for delivering a multimedia communication to a thin client device are provided. A processor receives multimedia communication data from a telephony device over a network and transfers the multimedia. communication data to a switching device. The processor also establishes a connection between a browser, embedded within the thin client device, and a server. The processor delivers and terminates the multimedia communication data to the thin client device using the browser embedded within the thin client device after establishing the connection between the browser and the server.
