TELEPHONE BASE STATION FOR COMBINING MOBILE AND TERRESTRIAL TELEPHONE SERVICE
According to one embodiment, a system includes a base station wirelessly connected to a first handset and a second handset, the base station including a first communication port configured to create a wireless connection to a first mobile telephone and a second mobile telephone via Bluetooth, where the first mobile telephone uses a first mobile telephone network and the second mobile telephone uses a second mobile telephone network.
Telephone base station for combining mobile and VOIP telephone service
According to one embodiment, a system includes a base station including a first communication port configured to create a wireless connection to a first mobile telephone via Bluetooth; and a second communication port configured to create a voice over internet protocol (VOIP) connection to a first telephone network; wherein the base station is configured to retrieve a first contact list from the first mobile telephone, and is configured to send information from the first contact list to a memory.
Device independent text captioned telephone service
A communication system and method for displaying text captions corresponding to voice communications between an assisted user's mobile wireless device and a separate hearing user's device includes at least one communication component configured to enable the appliance to communicate with a relay, a display, and a processor operably coupled to the at least one communication component and the display. The processor is configured to enable the assisted user to establish an association between the appliance and the mobile device, receive text originating at the relay, the text corresponding to a transcript of the hearing user's voice signal originating at the hearing user's device, and cause text captions corresponding to the received text to be displayed on the display.
Transcription presentation of communication sessions
A system is provided that includes a first network interface for a first network type and a second network interface for a second network type that is different from the first network type. The system also includes at least one processor configured to cause the system to perform operations. The operations may include obtaining, from the first network interface, audio from a communication session with a remote device established over the first network and obtaining an indication of a communication device available to participate in the communication session and direct audio obtained from the communication session to a remote transcription system. The operations may also include directing the audio to the second network interface for transmission to the communication device, obtaining transcript data from the remote transcription system based on the audio, and directing the transcript data to the second network interface for transmission to the communication device.
INTERNET PHONE SYSTEM
An internet phone system includes an internet phone main body, an expansion device and a multiple-layer connecting card. The internet phone main body includes a first connecting port. The at least one expansion device includes a second connecting port. One end of the multiple-layer connecting card is connected to the first connecting port, and the other end is connected to the second connecting port such that the internet phone main body can be electrically connected to the expansion device via the multiple-layer connecting card. The expansion device is capable of combining with another expansion device by another multiple-layer connecting card.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VOICE DOMAIN SELECTION
Aspects of the disclosure can provide an apparatus and method for voice domain selection (VDS). A processing circuitry of user equipment (UE) is configured to receive an indication that an internet protocol (IP) multimedia core network subsystem (IMS) voice is unsupported over a 3GPP access, but is supported over a non-3GPP access in a first communication system. Then, the processing circuitry is configured to register to an IMS via the non-3GPP access in the first communication system and perform an IMS voice service over the non-3GPP access in the first communication system. The processing circuitry of the UE is further configured to switch to a second communication system when voice domain management (VDM) is set to the second communication system. After registering to the first communication system using a non-3GPP access, and registering to the IMS via the non-3GPP access in the first communication system, the processing circuitry of the UE can be configured to switch back to the first communication system from the second communication system.
VoIP Analog Telephone System
A multi-port VoIP telecommunications system that allows the user to gain access to telephone connectivity through the Internet by connecting directly to the Internet or by connecting to the Internet through the existing Internet connection of a computer or cell phone device. The present system includes an Ethernet port, a Wi-Fi receiver to facilitate the transmission and receipt of Internet protocol signals wirelessly, a USB plug connectable to the ATA, connectivity to a home monitoring network and connectivity to Bluetooth devices.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DELIVERING MULTIMEDIA COMMUNICATION DATA TO A THIN CLIENT DEVICE
Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for delivering a multimedia communication to a thin client device are provided. A processor receives multimedia communication data from a telephony device over a network and transfers the multimedia communication data to a switching device. The processor also establishes a connection between a browser, embedded within the thin client device, and a server. The processor delivers and terminates the multimedia communication data to the thin client device using the browser embedded within the thin client device after establishing the connection between the browser and the server.
Phone systems and methods of communication
Phone systems, phone devices (including hardware, software and firmware), and methods of operating a phone. Described herein are dissociated phone systems including one or a plurality of local client phones with basic call handling capability that communicate though a remote phone server but are locally controlled by a controller gateway that manages the local network including the local client phones.
Method and system for integrated satellite assistance services
A computing device includes a display screen and is configured to generate and display an interactive map identifying at least one route segment. The route segment may be generated in view of a current location of the computing device and at least one of arises within a destination area, and/or connects the current location of the computing device with at least one destination or a service provider. The computing device may be configured to receive a selection of at least one of a route segment, a destination area, a destination, and a service provider and to activate at least one additional process for execution thereby. One additional process may include activating a navigation module configured to generate directions between the current location and the selection. The additional process may include outputting the directions in a humanly perceptible format. A route segment may be based on historical data.
