NETWORK TELEPHONE DEVICE, EXTERNAL CONNECTION CARD AND COMMUNICATION METHOD THEREFOR
A network telephone device, an external connection card, and a communication method therefor are provided. The network telephone device includes a controller, a network connection port, a network transmission module and a relay. The relay is coupled between the controller and at least two of a plurality of pins of the network connection port. While an external network cable connected to the network connection port is not capable of supplying power over Ethernet (POE) or a power supply mode of the POE is a first mode of the POE, the relay connects a transmit node and a receive node of the controller to the at least two of the pins respectively. The controller and an external device connected to the external network cable transmit signals compatible with a universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter (UART) interface to transmit data or instructions with each other through the at least two of the pins of the network connection port.
BLOCKING UNDESIRABLE COMMUNICATIONS IN VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL SYSTEMS
Blocking of undesirable voice over internet protocol (VOIP) communications is disclosed. A communication screening service initiates operations to block a threat posed by a VOIP communication upon receiving the communication from a gateway server. The communication may include an audio/video conversation and/or an audio/video conference. Next, metadata and content of the communication is analyzed to detect a threat, such as a scamming scheme and/or a phishing scheme, from a sender of the communication. A rejection of the communication is generated to disrupt the threat associated with the communication. The rejection is transmitted to the gateway server to prompt the gateway server to block the communication.
Maintaining an automobile configuration of a mobile computing device while switching between automobile and non-automobile user interfaces
A device is described that, while operating in an automobile configuration, causes a vehicle system of an automobile to display part of an automobile graphical user interface (GUI) while locally displaying a different part of the automobile GUI. Responsive to receiving user input for switching to a non-automobile GUI that permits access to at least some features of the device that are restricted by the automobile GUI, the device replaces the part of the automobile GUI that is locally displayed on the device with the non-automobile GUI, all while continuing to cause the vehicle system to display its part of the automobile GUI. The device accesses the at least some features of the device and responsive to receiving user input for switching back to the automobile GUI, the device replaces the non-automobile GUI with the part of the automobile GUI that was previously displayed by the device.

DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS, DATA PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
The present technology relates to a data processing apparatus, a data processing method, and a program that are capable of preventing output of data from being interrupted on a reception side, the data being wirelessly transmitted and received by the reception side.
Control information for controlling a method of using data is generated by a reception side, the data being wirelessly transmitted and received by the reception side, and the control information is added to data to generate data-with-control-information. A method of using data is controlled on the basis of control information included in data-with-control-information for controlling the method of using data, the data-with-control-information being acquired by adding the control information to data, the data-with-control-information being wirelessly transmitted, and data whose use method is controlled is output on the basis of the control information.

SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR PARTY LINE CALLS AMONG VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL (VoIP) TELEPHONES
Devices, systems and methods are provided to support a party call with auto joining function in a communication system for a distributed transport system that employs VoIP technology. A VoIP unit or end point acts as a conference bridge between an operator extension and other end points. A first end point makes a SIP call to the operator and multicasts a mix of its send audio and the received operator audio. Other end points first check for multicast traffic being received before making a SIP call to the operator and, if so, play out the received audio over its speaker and multicast its send audio. The end point initiating the call mixes this subsequent stream into a stream to the operator, effectively acting as the conference bridge to the operator. The other end points are responsible for mixing received multicast streams for their local speaker.
Methods for management the state of buttons of peripheral devices, implementing secure remote control of the user interface, interaction between applications, and also the answering machine, PBX and VoIP-cell gateway on the basis of smartphones
Method for managing the state of buttons of peripheral devices of computers of any type (including smartphones, tablets, etc.) is considered in the context of safe management by the corresponding segment of the user interface in the automatic or remote mode without direct tactile communication with the user, but at his desire. Manipulation with buttons on peripheral devices is carried out by the button state change agent which is built in directly the peripheral device who in turn is controlled on the channel of interaction of the computer and the peripheral device means of the software of the computer. Based on the technical result of using appropriately implemented additional user interfaces are also claimed methods of remote management of the computer, interactions between applications and also implementations of the answering machine, PBX and the VoIP-Cell gateway on the basis of smartphones.
Controlled handover of UEs to reduce wireless backhaul congestion
In an example method, a donor base station determines that an air interface, over which the donor base station serves a relay-UE and plurality of second UEs, is threshold highly congested and that a relay base station is serving a threshold high number of first UEs. The relay base station is coupled to a relay-UE that provides wireless connectivity for the relay base station and that is served by the donor base station. Responsive to at least the determining that the air interface is threshold highly congested and that the relay base station is serving a threshold high number of first UEs, the donor base station (i) selects one or more of the plurality of second UEs and (ii) hands over the selected one or more second UEs to another base station other than the donor base station.
Method for operating application providing group call service using mobile voice over internet protocol
Disclosed is a method for operating an application providing a group call service using mobile voice over internet protocol (mVoIP). According to one embodiment, a request signal for a group call is received, and regardless of participation in the corresponding the group call, meta information for the group chat room corresponding to the group call can be received from a server. The meta information can comprise at least the group call connection status for each member of the group chat room.
