System, method, and logic for identifying devices for a virtual meeting session

Example systems, methods, and logic are provided herein for detecting a numerical identifier of an endpoint. In one example, a connectivity manager establishes a wireless communication session with a fixed endpoint using a wireless communication protocol. The connectivity manager module then generates a Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) request to download a phone number associated with the fixed endpoint. The connectivity manager module receives, via the wireless communication session, a PBAP response comprising a phone number identifying the fixed endpoint and inputs the phone number identifying the fixed endpoint into a field used for initiating a call to the fixed endpoint.

Voice protocol connector apparatus

A connection apparatus has a USB port coupled to a USB interface for connection to a computing device enabled to manage IP audio calls, a land-line telephone port coupled to a Four-Wire Analog telephone interface, for connection to a Four-Wire port of a land-line telephone, a wireless interface for coupling to a communication device enabled to manage voice calls over a network, an analog audio port for a headset, coupled to an analog audio interface, a plurality of protocol translation modules, and switching circuitry enabled to connecting individual ones of the ports through individual ones of the protocol translation modules.

Call invites

A network node, computer program product and method establishing a call between a caller and a callee over a network. Multiple versions of a call invite are sent for establishing the call between a caller client of the caller and one or more callee clients implemented at one or more callee terminals of the callee. The multiple versions of the call invite are sent over a plurality of different delivery mechanisms. One of the delivery mechanisms comprises a push notification on a push channel.

Systems and methods for establishing a call connection

Systems and methods for establishing call connection in response to user action, the method including receiving a first user action from a user associated with making a call connection, wherein the first user action comprises any of copying at least part of a phone number, pasting at least part of the phone number, or inputting at least part of the phone number. The method also includes determining one or more call recipients based on the first user action. The method also includes establishing one or more silent call connections based on the determined one or more call recipients, wherein each of the one or more silent call connections comprises a call connection with a predetermined parameter so that there are no incoming call indicators on one or more devices associated with the one or more call recipients.

An apparatus including a server is disclosed for providing data-communications services to and configuring contact lists for a plurality of Internet-enabled devices. The apparatus includes a data server communicatively connected to the plurality of user-communications devices. In response to receiving a first data message, from a first device not included in the plurality of devices, that includes contact information and identifies one of the plurality of devices, the device management circuit adds a new contact having the contact information to the respective contact list of the identified one of the plurality of devices.

Providing a communication history of a multi-modal communication based on an aggregation of events

Methods are provided for providing a unified communication history of a multi-modal communication. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a plurality of event logs related to the multi-modal communication. The multi-modal communication comprises a first communication modality and a second communication modality. The method includes aggregating the one or more events from the event logs as a plurality of aggregated events and resolving an identity of each user from among the plurality of users in the plurality of aggregated events. The method includes storing the aggregated events into a communication history of the multi-modal communication. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.
