VOICE RECOGNITION FUNCTION LINK CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF VEHICLE
A voice recognition function link control system of a vehicle, which is configured for mounting a smart speaker used in the home or office in the vehicle and utilizing the smart speaker in linkage with an infotainment system of the vehicle, includes a traffic management system server, an infotainment system, a content service provider system server, and a smart speaker for receiving and transmitting a voice command of any user to the content service provider system server, receiving specific content from the content service provider system server, and outputting the received specific content.
METHOD FOR COMMUNICATION BETWEEN A PORTABLE DEVICE COMPRISING A TOUCH-SENSITIVE SURFACE AND A PERIPHERAL DEVICE SELECTED BY A DIRECTIONAL SLIDE ON THE TOUCH-SENSITIVE SURFACE
Method for communication between a portable device comprising a touch-sensitive surface and a peripheral device selected from among at least one peripheral device, comprising the steps of: determining a current position and a current orientation of the portable device; determining a direction of a selection slide on the touch sensitive surface of the portable device, carried out by an individual's finger or by any object; defining, from among the at least one peripheral device, the selected peripheral device whose position corresponds to the direction of the selection slide; starting a communication between the portable device and the selected peripheral device.
HVAC SYSTEM WITH HEADLESS THERMOSTAT
A heating, ventilation, or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a headless thermostat device and an adapter unit. The headless thermostat device includes one or more circuits configured to receive a control input from a user device via a local wireless network and generate a control signal for HVAC equipment based on the control input. The adapter unit includes one or more circuit configured to receive the control signal from the headless thermostat device via the local wireless network and provide the control signal to the HVAC equipment for operation of the HVAC equipment in accordance with the control input.
BACKUP CONTROL FOR HVAC SYSTEM WITH HEADLESS THERMOSTAT
A method in a heating, ventilation, or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes retrieving a control input from a remote computing system via a cellular network responsive to determining that a connection to a local wireless network cannot be established and generating a control signal for HVAC equipment based on the control input or generating a control signal for HVAC equipment by executing a backup control algorithm responsive to determining that a connection to a local wireless network cannot be established.
HVAC SYSTEM WITH THERMOSTAT GATEWAY
A thermostat gateway device includes one or more circuits configured to receive a control input from a user device or from a sensor device via a first frequency band of a local wireless network, generate a control signal for the HVAC equipment using the control input, and provide the control signal to the HVAC equipment via a second frequency band of the local wireless network to affect operation of the HVAC equipment.
Intercom system and intercom managing method
A method for managing an intercom system includes obtaining a householder management authority of an intercom official account by an intercom indoor device and transferring the householder management authority to a first mobile terminal of a householder. An intercom request can be generated by an access control device through which a visitor or other is seeking entry, the intercom request being received by the first mobile terminal of the householder. A communication with the access control device can be established, and the access control device can be controlled to open or not open a door. An intercom system is also provided.
Using Voice Commands From A Device To Remotely Access And Control A Computer
A method of using voice commands from a mobile device to remotely access and control a computer. The method includes receiving audio data from the mobile device at the computer. The audio data is decoded into a command. A software program that the command was provided for is determined. At least one process is executed at the computer in response to the command. Output data is generated at the computer in response to executing at least one process at the computer. The output data is transmitted to the mobile device.
GATEWAY FUNCTION CONTROL VIA TELEPHONY/VOICE SERVICE
An apparatus, method and computer readable memory comprises a voice service interface for allowing user control of a gateway. The voice service interface comprises a voice service module operable to interface with a telephonic communication device to process and receive gateway configuration entries from the user through the telephonic communication device. The voice service module is operable to transmit the gateway configuration entries to a gateway controller. The gateway configuration entries are configured to be parsed and applied to the gateway for control, configuration and/or diagnostic of the gateway. Gateway configuration entries include control function changes such as home gateway device reboot, Wi-Fi, enabling/disabling/configuration, parent control enabling/disabling/configuration, and other intended gateway functionalities.
Multi-device monitoring and control using intelligent device channel sharing
A physical network address of one of a set of wireless customer-premise monitoring devices is translated to a shared logical device physical network address in response to receipt from an application server of a first data packet addressed to the physical network address. The shared logical device physical network address forms a logical device group and physically addresses each of the set of wireless customer-premise monitoring devices over a single wireless communication channel. The physical network address of the one of the set of wireless customer-premise monitoring devices is embedded within the first data packet addressed to the shared logical device physical network address. The first data packet is sent to the shared logical device physical network address.
