SYSTEM FOR MANAGING MOBILE STATION INTERNATIONAL SUBSCRIBER DIRECTORY NUMBER STORAGE
Systems, methods, and apparatuses may include a Billing System (BS) node, Charging System (CS) node, and a mediation node for managing Mobile Station International Subscriber Directory Numbers (MSISDN)s for a telecommunication network. The system may make an MSISDN available for reassignment immediately or shortly after (e.g., seconds, minutes, days, or weeks after) receiving a cancelation request associated with the MSISDN. For instance, upon receiving the cancelation request, the system may store a line identifier with an association to the MSISDN and/or an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) in a line identifier database, and the system may delete the MSISDN/IMSI from a user account database. The system may receive a Telephone Account Procedure (TAP) Call Detail Record (CDR) associated with the MSISDN/IMSI after receiving the cancelation request. Accordingly, the system may use the line identifier stored in the line identifier database to generate a billing report corresponding to the TAP CDR.
Method and device used for wireless relay communication for reporting charging information utilizing data from identity sets
The present disclosure method and device for wireless communications, comprising: operating a first data block set; and transmitting first charging information; a size of data in the first data block set is used to generate the first charging information, the first charging information comprises a first identity (ID) set, and the first ID set comprises a first ID and a second ID; the first ID is a link layer ID; the operating action is receiving, a destination ID field of a MAC header of a MAC PDU used to carry the first data block set comprises at least partial bits in a first ID, when a destination link layer ID list maintained by a node indicated by the second ID comprises the first ID. The present disclosure determines a receiver or a generator of a first data block set, which improves accuracy of charging and enriches charging types of services.
System and method for dynamically providing communication profiles for mobile devices
The mobile device stores a plurality of communication profiles comprising one or more local communication profiles and a global communication profile. The mobile device determines local access requirements for connecting to a local cellular network operator and determines whether the plurality of communication profiles comprises a local communication profile that satisfies the local access requirements. When the plurality of communication profiles does not comprise a local communication profile that satisfies the local access requirements: the mobile device connects to a global cellular network operator using the global communication profile; receives, from the global cellular network operator, a new local communication profile that satisfies the local access requirements and connects to the local cellular network operator using the new local communication profile. Subsequently, the mobile device communicates with another device via the local cellular network operator as if the mobile device was a local mobile device.
Charging method and apparatus, and system
A charging method, including sending, by a control plane gateway, a first charging trigger event to a user plane gateway, where the first charging trigger event triggering the user plane gateway to generate service usage information, generating, by the user plane gateway, the service usage information when the user plane gateway detects that the first charging trigger event occurs, sending, by the user plane gateway, the service usage information to the control plane gateway, generating, by the control plane gateway, a charging request according to the service usage information, and sending, by the control plane gateway, the charging request to a charging system. Offline charging during packet data network gateway (PGW) control and user (CU) separation is implemented.
Multi-connectivity charging in heterogeneous networks
Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for charging in multi-connectivity systems. In some example embodiments, there may be provided a method that includes marking, by a first base station serving a user equipment, at least one packet to include a first indication indicating that the at least one packet was received directly at the first base station serving the user equipment; and marking, by the first base station, at least one other packet to include a second indication to indicate that the at least one other packet was received via a second base station also serving the user equipment. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

Data processing
Data is processed in a telecommunications network. First and second notifications are received, via an input interface, from first and second Charging Trigger Functions, CTFs, in the telecommunications network. The first and second notifications relate to network resource usage in the telecommunications network. A scalable transformation function is used to transform data derived from the first and second notifications into a first usage detail report in a first detail report format and a second usage detail report in a second, different detail report format. The first and second usage detail reports are output, via an output interface, to at least one recipient system.

Methods and systems for reducing data traffic flow between a network and an online charging system
The present solution relates to an improved system and method for reducing traffic flow between the subscriber's device, network, and a charging system. The methods and systems described herein can provide a mediator (or buffer) between the network and the charging system. The mediator can be controlled independently of the charging system and for each client device on the network can run an instance of a quota cache. The charging system can provide the quota cache with a service quota that is allocated out as resource grans to the client device over a given period of time. The mediator can be configured to include a plurality of charging and reporting parameters, which determine how the mediator reports subscriber consumption back to the charging system. The mediator can receive the consumption updates from the client device and aggregate the consumption and report back to the charging system at predefined intervals.
