APPARATUS FOR REVERSE POWER FEEDING IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMMUNICATION LINE ENVIRONMENTS AND A METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to an apparatus for reverse power feeding in accordance with communication line environments and a method thereof, which measure line resistance (e.g., a difference in impedance depending on a distance between a customer premise (CP) and a distribution point (DP)) of a communication line (e.g., a twisted pair copper wire) connected to a distribution point at a customer premise and reflect the measured line resistance to perform stable power feeding to the distribution point.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LOAD BALANCING AMONG MULTI-PORTS IN REVERSE POWER FEEDING
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for load balancing among multi-ports in reverse power feeding, and more particularly, to an apparatus and a method which, in the process in which a distribution apparatus performs load balancing among multi-ports by reversely receiving power from multiple customer premises at a distribution point, when reverse power feeding from a specific customer premise is stopped, since a power burden of a remaining customer premise is increased, which interfere with a communication service, can reduce power consumption on the distribution by releasing a link of a communication port connected with the corresponding customer premise as soon as the power feeding is stopped and provide a stable communication service by performing the load balancing only with respect to remaining communication ports.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISTRIBUTION POINT UNIT, RESPECTIVE DISTRIBUTION POINT UNIT AND CPE DEVICE
The method for operating a distribution point unit comprising a selection switch (17) and a monitor and control logic (15) for providing a first and a second service, comprises the steps of: receiving a switching signal powering the monitor and control logic (68), and switching the selection switch from the first service to the second service by the monitor and control logic (70), after receiving the switching signal. The selection switch has a default state, in which the first service is provided. The first service is in particular an xDSL and/or a PSTN service, and the second service is a G.fast service.
CHARGING METHOD, CHARGING APPARATUS, AND TERMINAL
A charging method, a charging apparatus, and a terminal are disclosed. The method includes: identifying, when it is detected that a charging apparatus is inserted into a charging port of a terminal by using a charging cable, a first voltage value of the charging port; setting a second charging current; identifying a second voltage value of the charging port at the second charging current; calculating a cable impedance of the charging cable according to the first voltage value, the second charging current, and the second voltage value; and adjusting a suitable charging current of the charging apparatus according to the cable impedance of the charging cable. Therefore, the terminal can adapt to different charging apparatuses, improving charging experience of a user.
POWER CONSUMPTION CONTROL METHOD FOR WEARABLE DEVICE, AND WEARABLE DEVICE
The present invention provides a power consumption control method for a wearable device, and a wearable device. The method includes: receiving, when a modem of a wearable device is in an off state, remote wireless communication service information transmitted by a terminal through short range communications; or receiving, by a wearable device when a modem of the wearable device is in an on state, content, sent by a network device, of the remote wireless communication service. With the method provided in the present invention, a standby time of the wearable device is prolonged.
Methods, Apparatus, Systems and Articles of Manufacture to Charge a Battery Based on an Electronic Device Skin Temperature
Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture for a battery charging device are disclosed. Example battery charging devices include a temperature sensor to sense a skin temperature of an electronic device in which the battery is installed, and a current controller to control a magnitude of a charging current to be supplied to the battery. The current controller causes the magnitude of the charging current to oscillate between an upper level and a lower level and a current adjuster adjusts the upper level downwards and the lower level upwards based on the skin temperature sensed by the temperature sensor. In some examples, a memory device stores a thermal set point and a comparator compares the skin temperature to the thermal set point and transmits a control signal to the current adjuster based on the comparison of the thermal set point to the skin temperature.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING ELECTRICAL POWER TO A BROADBAND DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER LINE ACCESS
Power is supplied to telecom equipment in DSLAM outdoor/remote cabinets with relatively short distances between the subscriber and the cabinet. All of the subscriber Customer Premises Equipment connected to the DSLAM each provide a portion of the required power to the remote cabinet via the telephone line connecting the DSLAM and the subscriber CPE. The CPE at the subscriber premises is already connected to power mains in the subscriber premises so, providing power, via the telephone line to the outdoor cabinet is relatively simple. The remote cabinet includes a circuit for receiving the power input from each subscriber and then distributing the power, required by the DSLAM load, equally among the subscribers.
