The disclosure relates to an electronic device including a flexible display for screen recording, and a method thereof. The electronic device may include: a memory, a display module including a flexible display, and at least one processor electrically coupled to the memory and the display module. The at least one processor may be configured to: record a screen of the display displayed in an visible area of the display in a reference screen size, based on a screen size of the visible area being changed by extension or contraction of the display during the recording, control the display module to display an object to which a visual effect related to at least one content displayed on the screen is applied, in part of the visible area corresponding to the changed size, and in response to completion of the extension or contraction of the visible area of the display during the recording, control the display module to display an extended or contracted screen in an extended visible area or a contracted visible area.

An example electronic device may include a housing, a flexible display, wherein at least a portion of the flexible display which is positioned in the housing is configured to be exposed to an outside of the housing as the housing slides, a speaker, and a processor operatively connected with the speaker and the flexible display. The processor may be configured to control the speaker to output a first sound at a first volume value while a state of the housing is a normal state, identify a size of a first area of the flexible display exposed to the outside, based on a first slide of the housing to change the state of the housing to an extended state, and control the speaker to output the first sound at a second volume value higher than the first volume value based on a size of the first area while the state of the housing is the extended state.

An example method includes receiving audio streams from a plurality of client devices of participants of a teleconference; converting the audio streams for a first conversation within the teleconference into first text; converting the audio streams for a second conversation within the teleconference into a second text; analyzing the first text to identify one or more topics being discussed in the first conversation; analyzing the second text to identify one or more topics being discussed in the second conversation; and presenting, in a teleconference user interface, at least one of the one or more topics being discussed in the first conversation or the one or more topics being discussed in the second conversation.
