MOBILE TERMINAL
The objective of the present invention is to provide a mobile terminal in which a layout of execution screens of two or more applications displayed together can be automatically changed to be suited for a user's viewing. According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is a mobile terminal comprising: a body; a display coupled to the body such that a display area viewed from the front of the body can be changed according to the switching between an extension display mode and a contraction display mode; and a control unit for controlling such that a layout for two or more application execution screens displayed together on the display is changed in response to the switching from the extension display mode to the contraction display mode.
Phased array ultrasound device for creating a pressure focus point
A phased array ultrasound device includes transducer elements arranged in a two dimensional array; first electrodes, each first electrode extending along a first direction; and second electrodes, each second electrode extending along a second direction, where each transducer element is associated with one first electrode and one second electrode, where each transducer element includes a material located between its associated first electrode and second electrode, and is configured to emit an ultrasonic wave induced by a vibration force or an oscillation force of its material when the transducer element is actuated based on control signals applied to its associated first electrode and second electrode, where each transducer element has a unipolar actuation force direction, and where the phased array ultrasound device is configured to create a pressure focus point by actuating a set of transducer elements to form a combined ultrasonic wave.
System and method to retrieve a secure message when a display of a mobile device is inaccessible
Systems and methods are described for providing a security code to a second device. A first device receives a textual representation of a security code that is required for authorization of a second device with a remote application server. The first device checks if the textual representation of the security code is accessed during a predefined time period. If not, the first device also checks if the second device is within an output range of the first device. If so, the first device outputs an audio representation of the security code.
GUIDE MAP PROVISION METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING SAME
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display, a camera, and a processor. The processor displays a first image obtained through the camera, displays, in response to the first image being enlarged in one magnification in a designated first magnification range, the enlarged first image as a second image, displays, in a designated area of the display, a guide map including a first guide box indicating a location of the second image and having a size which varies in response to a magnification change in the first magnification range, and when the first image or the second image is enlarged to a third image in response to the first or second image being enlarged by one magnification in a designated second magnification range greater than the first magnification range, changes the first guide box to a second guide box having a fixed size.
Enhanced calling systems and methods
Systems and methods described herein may present one or more enhanced communication features during a call. A destination identifier for a communication sent by a first device may be detected, the destination identifier being an identifier associated with a second device. A source identifier for the communication sent by the first device may be detected, the source identifier being an identifier associated with the first device. A direct connection between the first device and the second device may be established. By the direct connection, at least one call-enhancing element may be shared with the first device and the second device, the at least one call-enhancing element being associated with at least one of the source identifier and the destination identifier.
Systems and methods for providing calling party information
System and methods for providing calling party information are disclosed. In one implementation, a server for providing calling party information includes one or more processors configured to receive a query for calling party information from a carrier. The query includes an identifier associated with the calling party. The processors are further configured to determine a score based on one or more previously obtained queries, generate the calling party information based on the score, and transmit the calling party information to the carrier. The carrier transmits the calling party information to a device associated with the called party as a Caller ID Name (CNAM).
Missed communication notification
A device implementing a system for missed communication notification may include at least one processor configured to receive, from a server over a first communication channel, a message indicating that another device initiated a communication with the device over a second communication channel at a particular time. The at least one processor may be further configured to determine, by the device, whether the communication was established with the other device over the second communication channel at the particular time. The at least one processor may be further configured to provide, for display, an indication of the message based at least in part on a determination that the communication initiated by the other device was not established over the second communication channel at the particular time.
Touch sensor-antenna module and display device including the same
A touch sensor-antenna module according to exemplary embodiments of the present invention includes a substrate layer, a touch sensor electrode layer disposed on a central portion of an upper surface of the substrate layer, and antenna patterns disposed on a peripheral portion of the upper surface of the substrate layer at the same level as that of the touch sensor electrode layer. Mutual interference between the touch sensor electrode layer and the antenna pattern may be reduced to improve signal reliability and process efficiency.
AUTOMATIC CALLER IDENTIFICATION TRANSLATION
The invention provides an interrogator for obtaining information associated with a caller identification, such as a telephone number, transmitted within an incoming telephone call including: a receiving device configured to receive the incoming telephone call and to extract the caller identification from the incoming telephone call; an interrogating device configured to receive the extracted caller identification from the receiving device and to interrogate information associated with the caller identification from an external data base, which is configured to operate independently from the user voice communication device for which the incoming telephone call is intended for; and a forwarding device configured to receive and to forward the interrogated information.
COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD
A communication system includes a management apparatus and an agent apparatus. The management apparatus broadcasts the voice of an utterance of one of users of mobile communication terminals to the mobile communication terminals of the other users and to chronologically accumulate the result of utterance voice recognition of the utterance voice as a user-to-user communication history to control text delivery such that the communication history is displayed on the mobile communication terminals in synchronization. The agent apparatus produces an agent utterance text based on detection information output from a state detection device provided for a monitoring target and transmitting the agent utterance text to the management apparatus. The management apparatus broadcasts synthesized voice data of the agent utterance text to the mobile communication terminals and to chronologically accumulate the agent utterance text in the user-to-user communication history to control text delivery to the mobile communication terminals.
