An example method includes generating a teleconference interface with a plurality of user-controlled participant interface elements representing participants of the teleconference; identifying a first conversation based on positions, in the teleconference interface, of a first subset of the participant interface elements; identifying a second conversation based on the positions, in the teleconference interface, of a second subset of the participant interface elements; accessing supplemental data, from at least one of a networking or social media database, for the participants of the teleconference; and presenting, within the participant interface elements, the supplemental data.

The technology disclosed herein enables communications among users having communication session requests waiting in a queue. In a particular embodiment, a method includes determining that a first communication session request from a first endpoint is in a queue for establishing a communication session with a receiving endpoint to which the queue is regulating access. While the first communication session request is in the queue, the method includes connecting the first endpoint to a communication channel between the first endpoint and a second endpoint having a second communication session request in the queue. Also, while the first communication session request is in the queue, the method includes exchanging user communications between the first endpoint and the second endpoint over the communication channel.

A request is received to initiate a document sharing operation to share a document displayed via a first graphical user interface (GUI) on a first client device associated with a first participant of a conference call with a second participant of the conference call via a second GUI on a second client device. Image data corresponding to a view of the first participant in a surrounding environment is also received. An image depicting the first participant is obtained based on the received image data. One or more regions of the document that satisfy one or more image placement criteria are identified. The document and the image depicting the first participant are provided for presentation via the second GUI on the second client device. The image depicting the first participant is presented at a region of the identified one of more regions of the document.
